Sheep are infact the easiest to please. With mediocrity like Conduit, last-generation PS2 ports like Okami and RE4, Rehashes, Minigame compilations etc.

Hating Ubisoft, when Nintendo is on the same level is just hypocrisy. They essentially both focus on the core and casual audience.

Its beyond me how Nintendo's line-up is actually being defended here. If you truly believe that Wii-music and Animal Crossing are better then the high profile games developed by Ubisoft's Montrael studios, then thats just fanboyism on your part. Don't scapegoat Ubisoft for your own failures.

After the E3 incident... I think its very obvious that Nintendo is taking mainstream gaming to a new low. Even the most fundamentalist/Extremists sheep have admited this.

If the Wii does not satisfy your gaming needs, you might consider switching to a more hardcore platform. Wii isn't made for that purpose. So you have to suck it up, and if you want blame somebody for it. Nintendo is the one to blame. Not Ubisoft.

the 360 is not more hardcore then the wii or ps3 for me but interesting that you make a difference between those consoles.

But Nintendo is also to blame for their lack of dev kits and support, and the decision to go with low tech system for their own selfish reason to make profit, that restricts the creativity of most developers. Nintendo talks about ''innovation'', and yet their anounced library of games contain of puke.

Those ''good'' casual games mostly average around 5 to 7 on gamerankings.

Ubisoft doesn't seem to put effort into Wii games, so gamers don't like that. Ubi should just bugger off or put some effort into it. The Wii doesn't need special treatment, but some care would be a nice change if Ubisofts wants some respect.

Nintendo made some really bad games too. People don't care much as long as they get their good games. That just isn't happening with Ubisoft. Why not release good games on all systems, or all games on one out of principle? Something is really wrong with them.

This has absolutely nothing to do with casual vs hardcore so i don't get why that ever entered this topic.

If the budget for Red Steel was really that high i wonder what they did with it, but maybe it means they actually did care and were just not talented enough to make a good Wii game.

It's not like the titles they released were the kind of games the wii is made for. That's kind of what You make it sound like.
In fact, that's what this whole topic is really about isn't it? That games like Beyond good and evil 2, and Brothers in Arms don't belong on the Wii because they are so hardcore or of high quality?
It's not like nintendo gamers need a 360/Ps3/Pc game on the Wii, but there's no reason for not creating a nice title on the Wii, not just crap. And we all know it's not just Ubisoft doing this. In some circumstances the target audience can influence the quality of the game. Especially the budget of their development project. A game for casuals? They aren't as dedicated as hardcore gamers are... just make a quick buck from it. Thats how business goes.

Nintendo's E3 conference consisted of 6 things.

1. Sales talk.

2. Self-worship.

3. Smack talk on other creative developers.

4. Their financial well-being.

5. taking mainstream gaming to a new low.

6. convincing us that Animal Crossing is hardcore.
