@RPG_Fan_I_Am Why wouldn't they want the graphics cards the same? just means that devs would be willing to develop for both consoles instead of the one that has better graphics also it means they can both just concentrate on trying to out do each other with online services instead of also trying to say how their hardware is better because this and that... look at the problems Sony has convincing people why a Cell Processor was worth the extra money than a £200 cheaper Xbox 360 yet the games on both consoles look the same. This will only help Sony if they end up having the same graphics cards.

@Richardthe3rd If you got it on PC then you should never of shut it down, Mods are amazing....10vs10 versus mode with a cash mod is nuts! If you're console though then meh...get a PC.

@kerrman It will be free for PC users but Microsoft forces them to charge for DLC on the Xbox otherwise they have already said that the L4D2 DLC would of been free on xbox as well as PC. Also PC Gamers already have the original L4D1 maps so it only backs up my point that we will get the new map free.

Gamespot is an English site is it not? so why is there no pricing estimate in sterling (£)?

@hitman047m4 Oh yeah it's going to be hard as hell for Nintendo to get that point across to average people. I think sticking with the Wii name is a smart idea, casual gamers will know what kind of game/gameplay they will be getting with the WiiU from their experience with the Wii which is a family friendly one.For gamers like me we should think of it has, not which console is better because it can do this or that but more on the fact that just buy every console for their exclusives, The only reason i have an Xbox 360 is for Halo, Wii is for Smash Bros and PS3 is for Naughty Dog games, i have a gaming PC for multiplatform games etc i also have a 3DS and Vita for their exclusives and i know not everyone can afford all the consoles like me (mostly COD kids) but that doesn't mean you should start a console war...Every console has it's uniqueness and all our worthy of being bought.

@hitman047m4 I've heard Nintendo say that the connection between the WiiU and the gamepad are much faster though, so pretty much anything you do on the gamepad is instantly seen on the TV Screen compared to remote play on the Vita via streaming through wifi the WiiU has it's own signal (probs infra red) which will make it that much better.

I would really love to know the Specs of the WIIU before i buy it, both for the system and the gamepad, i want to know if it can atleast render games in 1080p on the TV and gamepad before i buy it as that's what a new console needs to do a bare minimum these days, especially for a PC Gamer like me who already has native 1080p, i couldn't imagine buying a whole new system to not have 1080p as native.Also when she described COD as a Hardcore game that really made me laugh, COD is no where near a hardcore...casual maybe mid core, a game that is accessible to everyone from the age of 8+ is not a hardcore....Starcraft 2 on the other hand IS a hardcore game...maybe even Extremecore (lol), anyone who disagrees with me does not know what they're talking about.

i hate cloud gaming and for one reason...say i buy 500pounds worth of games online...the company goes bust, i cant play my games anymore...or i could just by then physically and play them forever without a worry, if this does happen then im not willing to risk my money on gaming anymore.

they bothbhave a triple core 3.20 and half a gb of ram each, they are both the same in terms of power apart from a few things like disk space and a few different shading techniques...the console war is stupid as they're both the same and then the PC out classes both of them anyway.
