Processing...

Well, I always wanted to join the military, originally I wanted to join the Navy, then I got a random call from a recruiter from the Marines. So I was like, ok, cool, I'l check it out. I went there the next day and took their ASVAB pre test, I scored a 68, which is a good score to get on such a test when the passing score is 35. So of course they really wanted me to join, and I was all for it. But, since I am only 17, I have to have parental concent, which I did not get since my mother would never want me to go into the Marines. So I said "screw it, I'll go talk to the Navy." Good call, they are a much larger service with more money to offer their sailors. It took all of 3 days to get all signed up and ready to go to the MEPS station (Military Enlistment Processing Station). So, last Friday I went to the hotel they provided, free or charge including food, a room, and they had a game room with 3 TVs, a pool table, chess, and 2 Xboxs and a variety of games. So, I had to stay in one of the rooms in the hotel with some creepy hispanic kid who seemed extremely anti-social. So, in the morning, and 3AM, I woke up, showered and stuff, and at 3:30, went down to the lobby for breakfast. We left for the station around 5 or so in a caravan of 3 small shuttle busses and one SUV trailing behind. We got the the station and wll day was spent filling out a mountain of paper work, and signing many many things, not to mention the many times I had to write my social security number or just confirm they had gotten it right. So, first I took a breathalyzer test, passed it of course, then I had to take the ASVAB, scored a 59, I was hoping for 70 or higher, but that score still got me the job(s) I wanted. Next, went the rest of the physical, vision, hearing, urinanalysis, blood test, and then a regular physical. once I finished with that I had to wait a good 2 hours before I could go to my lieason's office and go to lunch. So I got lunch and talked to the Navy guy in charge of appointing people to special services programs such as Navy SEALS. The conversation went well, I found that I scored high enough to qualify, and all I had to do next was pass their physical test which I will go into depth later. So anyway, then I talked to the guy in charge of other jobs, those that are more legitimate, he offered three jobs for me to choose from, and they were IT (information technician), Master at arms (Military Police), and some medical job I did not care too much for. I imediately pushed the master at arms and the medical jobs aside and went for IT. So, I got signed up for that job, I signed the contract and got sworn in, then I got to go home after that. Luckily for me, my recruiter showed up about and hour before I was totally done so I didnt have to call and ask for a ride, or wait 2 hours for him to arrive at the station to pick me up. So anyway, since this post is so long, I doubt anyone will give a rats ass about the whole thing, and they will miss the most important part, so I am gonna make a new blog post after this one that will have better information.

More recent stuff

Ya know what I have been doing recently? Wrestling, and no not that fake WWE BS that you see on TV, I'm talking about real wrestling, like the kind that you would see in the olympics. The season is over, but I will be doing more wrestling during the offseason, I really enjoy being able to physically hurt someone and not get in trouble for it. I love getting to wrestle Freshmen, its funny as hell because they dont know what they are doing and I usually get to do some more elaborate and painful moves on them, or moves that are more fun and that require you to overpower your opponet. Dont get me wrong though, I have wrestled Juniors and Seniors, and I have beaten some of them too, but most of them had more experience that me, in a few cases I won, but in other I didnt, but luckly for me, all of my wins so far have been pins. This was my first year wrestling, and I had a lot of fun, I didnt get as many wins as I thought I would, but I did get more wins than losses, so I would call that a pretty successful season especially for my first time. My grades have been improving at school, usually my GPA is somewhere around 2.0, but now I finally got it up to 3.0, and I really dont know how. I am the biggest slacker you ever saw, I never do my homework at home, usually I will do it in class or in the library before my school (which usually doesnt happen because I get caught up talking to my friends). I always do huge projects on the last possible day too, and sometimes the day that it is due during school. Recently (last week) I had my history class at the end of the day, so during the first four periods of the day, I wrote my essay and at lunch I typed it up, and at 5th period I turned it in for full credit. I am verry good at procrastinating. I ordered a Letterman Jacket from a sporting goods store in Redwood city at the beginning of the month, I think it should be ready sometime this week (hopefully). I have been waiting for this thing to finally come it, and I cant wait to show it off whenever I have a game or a tournament, it will be especially fun to show it off to some of my friends who dont play sports or who are just a few points shy of being able to get one. I had them put all my big patches on the jacket for me along with embroidering my name on the front and back of the jacket. I have more smaller patches (6 I think, but I will be getting two more for my recent wrestling championship). I'm really hoping to be able to wear it on Monday and show it to my friend Matt, who is on the football team too, and he ordered his Letterman Jacket a few weeks after I did, and I cant wait to show him mine and to gloat that he hasnt gotten his yet. It ought to be fun. Thats all the crap I have for now, I will post something later (probably not, but I'll think about it) I do have more stuff I want to write, but I'm gonna play some video games.

Recent... um... stuff

Well, I havnt updated this blog thing in a while, so to get to it...

If you know me, you know that I attended G.A.M.E. in San Fransico at the Mascone Center. I had a blast, and I'm too lazy to re-post what I have allready stated, so I will just post a link to my full review here enjoy, and feel free to ask questions.

Recently I was talking to a friend at school, and somehow someone that she works with seemed to know who I am and that I was one of a few people to have won a 360 at G.A.M.E. I didnt get a chance to ask her how her co-worker knew who I was, what school I go to, and that I not only attended the event but I had won a 360, I was kinda freaked out by this. I keep being asked by random people at school who I have never met before, or even seen in my entire life, and they are always asking me how I won, it gets kinda annoying after a while, but I am enjoying the attention. I do not know when I will be geting it, dont ask, when I get it I'll post some pics of it and stuff.

Well anway, its the holiday season, and I am poor as hell, I have no money for gifts, and I have been telling most people to not worry about what to get me for the holidays besides, I'm athiest, and I really dont want people giving me things in the spirit of some religious thing. I recently (today) acquired a handed down iPod from my uncle who got a video iPod, so he gave his to me, and my aunt gave hers to my brother, and I gave my mini to my mom. Its not bad, I just dont like the 4 buttons at the top, I'm used to giving all the commands with the wheel.

I started wrestling this week, and I have been having a lot of fun, I have a good coach, and I am learning fast, there is a tournamant next Saturday, a big one at that, and the coaches are specifically getting me and the other football players ready for that specific tournament because we are the strongest of the wrestlers and it would be really helpful to the team to have us ready for that tourny. Th head coach sucks, he is always trying to teach these weird moves that we will most likely never use (except for a few) and then he doesnt give us much time to practice them. Our assistant coach is a much better coach, he has 17 years of experience coaching wrestling and really knows how to make us work, Thursday I was the most tired I had ever been in my entire life, in my opinion, he should be head coach, we would be a much better team if he was.

There is so much hype over MySpace at my school, just about everyone is obsessed with that freakin retarded site, and I am determined to not be drawn into all that crap. The kids at my school are insane, almost all of them listen to rap except for me and my group of friends, it gets annoying after a while. They will follow any trend that is popular no matter what it is, its really pathetic.

Thats all for now, I will have to crap to post later, I will definately keep this "blog" up to date now that I have more things on my mind.

Metallica Union and stuff

I finally got the Metallica Union up and running today, now all I need are some members to discuss stuff about Metallica. Hopefully a few people will join, that I sent invites to. July 23rd I will be going to Ohio on vacation for about 2 weeks, and when I get back I might have a week or two of freedom. After that week or two I will have football practice, double days actually, so thats gonna suck. I got the Halo 2 maps, yay. They are all pretty good, I just cant stand Gemeni or Elongation, they suck. I also changed the password or my XBL account so that freeloader of a brother that I have cant use it without paying tribute to me. SOCOM 3 comes out Septemeber, and I have been playing SOCOM II a lot more recently. DAMN I want SOCOM 3 now. Tomorow I will be doing my final job for my football coach, hopefully I will get paid upwards to $50 this time.

Damn it all!

I freakin hurt my back weightlifting during football conditioning, and now I cant go to work and earn any money for buying games, now I will only be getting around $100 when I was originally expecting $250. Damn. and on top of it all I can barely move, it hurts to be in certain postions, so right now, anything having to do with my back is impossible to perform, all I can do now is curls, bench press, puch ups, and sit ups, this freakin sucks. Hopefully I will recover soon so I can keep my muscle mass as high as it was, and so that I can go to work and get some money.

Finally. No more school

Finally School is out and I can get some good SOCOM hours, but I do have workouts for football, and I have to help out my coach and do matinance on the entire football field, but at least I get paid. I also have to set up fireworks stands, and I am going to get paid $200 for that job. So I will be paying off my $150 debt and gettin some more games. Tommorow is Sunday and there is a SOCOM II tournament, we finally were able to get a few more full teams for it, but I'm not sure if my whole team can make it though, I still havn't heard from BackInBlack.

SOCOM Union and random thoughts

Finally we are hosting a tourny, and not just a one on one tourny, a quads tourniment, this ought to be interesting. I allready go my team set: BackInBlack, megaman1001, Theoryc, and myself. I think we have a very good chance of winning the tourny, each member of my team is very good at SOCOM and should give other teams a run for their money. So far, the only other team that looks like it might give us trouble is Weazel's team. Recently I posted a new Icon and personal pic on my profile, I like both of em, they look quite good. This is the last week of school I have left, and I am as busy as ever, I volunteered for two jobs for my fooball coach just for a little pocket cash ($305.00). So I will busy with that, and not to mention summer reading, football, and playing SOCOM as well. Hopefully I will have more SOCOM time than other things, I haven't been on much lately and I need to play more for my Union. Seriously looking foward to SOCOM 3, I will most definately be pre-ordering it and getting the demo as well sometime in July, hopefully I will have enough money from working and stuff.
