I have not had any problems with mine freezing on Wii sports, but it has frozen once on another game. I had to just unplug the power cord to get it to reset.
On launch day, I waited 11 hours in the freezing rain outside of a Best Buy, by the end my toes were numb from being outside all night long. For some reason I decided to just sit in a chair with some blankets instead of getting a tent, that was a poor decision, but in the end it was worth it.
My brother and I had a lot of fun with Gunstar Heroes. It is a Contra-style side scroller that I never heard of when I originally had my Genesis in the early 90s, but I enjoyed it alot for the several days that it took us to finally finish it. The game is a little on the short side, but there are some difficult portions that will extend the game considerably depending on how long it takes you. I would recommend this game to anyone that has a Wii.
Ever since I got my Wii on launch day the one VC game I really wanted was Punch-Out!!! I hope it does come out tomorrow because I would definately add it to my collection. I still remember the code for the Tyson/Mr. Dream final bout, 007 373 5963.
Our favorite drinking related video game is actually a Gamecube game that we play on the Wii... Super Smash Bros. Melee. We use the Super Sudden Death match mode that gives each participant 300% damage to start out with. Each time you get get KO'd or kill yourself you drink. One smash attack will lead to a KO. It gets very frustrating constantly picking up your beer to drink while someone else knocks you out before you can grab your controller again. If you do play, make sure to have several friends to swap in and out as well as lots of alcohol because the game can get out of hand very quickly.
