Ive always played games alot still do. My problem was getting into mmo's. Basically instead of playing alot of diff and Fun games i spent to much time on the one MMO i would be playing and missed out on lots of great titles. I made a promise to myself this last month or so to not let that happen again(still gonna play MMO's but not so exclusively. I love gaming to much, i have certain life situation that gives me lots of free time and gaming helps keep me sane.
Just got done watching on the spot and found this out :(. Makes me sad Rich was one of my favorite people. Well that being said GL Rich family is always the most important thing.
Gamespot has to be like everyone else now and have a show "The Next gamespotting star". LOL
I just hope whoever gets to take Rich's place has as much energy and enthusiam he does.

Read any amountof Warhammer 40k books, that universe puts Halo's to shame as a cliched train wreck no joke..
Warhammer has the advantage of having been around much longer so of course it is a more developed universe. Ive never been a huge fan of the warhammer universe though. To each his own we all like what we like.
For me being a PC gamer Halo(esp if you read the books) is all about story. The idea of humanity fighting this big epic struggle and the heros in it. But ya most good games are all about gameplay and story and the rest of a game being good(graphics etc is just icing on the cake so to speak.
Planetside. Hands down one of my favorite games. MMOFPS. Great dynamic world. Excellent integration of vehicles both land and air with some being amphibious.
Huxley looks cool but i read something how its going to have a big world but when you fight it will be like some instanced 64 person thing :( Planetside was great with the truly large scale fights with combined arms and multiple front battles/wars going on over multiple continents.
If you wanna raid end game wow is just as much of a job as ffxi. Heres what ill say ffxi is better if you have a solid group of friends to play it with doing stuff alone is a pita. FFxi is also very late in its life esp since it was out in japan before being out here for some time. Ask some friends see what they say. Really any MMO is going to be a pretty big time sink to so keep that in mind. IDK i liked wow better but in the end you have to try and decide yourself.
check out Tabula Rasa you might like that. It's not out now but should be soon. If you cant wiait EVE is def something to look at and im pretty sure they have like a 2 week free trial which is cool.
