Voice Studiois an app that functions for Microsoft testing, much like last year's Xbox LIVE Labs. This time around, they're testing the Kinect's voice recognition, so you'll obviously need a Kinect to use this App. As anyone who has played Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, only to say 'hello' to someone thus inexplicably tossing a grenade and killing your co-op buddy in the process can attest to, this needs to be tested, so the more people that get in on this, the better that recognition will be (and the less your co-op buddies will get killed).

You can download Voice Studio from the dashboard. It will ask you to say hundreds of phrases over eight "tracks" and... that's pretty much it. It contains four achievements worth 50G, as well as avatar awards. It appears to only be available from the US Dashboard at the moment, though we'll let you know if it becomes available elsewhere.

Ubisoft finally offers an update on I Am Alive, confirming that the game will be released as a digital download for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network sometime this winter.

In I Am Alive, players will be challenged by both their environment and their enemies. Stamina and resource management are key when being exposed to deadly atmospheres and scaling enormous buildings in search of supplies. The unique combat system requires players to utilize intimidation: cowards are easily swayed with an empty gun, while other enemies will put players to the test.

Start with the most sensational news: someone has managed to navigate the menus one of the stations playing Call of Duty XP event to be held soon in Los Angeles, filming everything with a cell phone and post the video on YouTube. Obviously Activision did immediately remove the video but on SFX-360 are the detailed account of what has been shown.

In summary, it seems that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will support as many as 32 players per game, even on the console, some game modes, whereas the previous chapters to allow a maximum of 18 players. Alongside the Team Deathmatch was also sighted a mysterious bomb mode, on which we will know more soon.

They were also unveiled the names of at least 13 multiplayer maps, namely: Carbon, Coast Dome, Exchange, hardhat, Interchange, Lambeth, Meteora, Mogadishu, Paris, Plaza, Radar and Seatown.

If you have already downloaded the Zombies Pack that came with the Hardened and Prestige Editions of Call of Duty®: Black Ops, fire up the game and go to the Zombies menu. Select either SPLITSCREEN or XBOX LIVE and make sure you are using the XBOX live profile that you used to redeem the maps. There will be a new menu option that reads "FREE ZOMBIES LEVEL." Select this option and you will be allowed to download Rezurrection for ZERO points starting on August 23rd. Codemasters has confirmed that this year's official Formula One game, F1 2011, will introduce the sport's safety car.

In Formula One, the safety car leads the pack around at the circuit at a reduced pace in dangerous conditions such as extreme wet or after a crash. Racers have to hold station behind it and aren't allowed to pass each other.

Its appearance can have a profound impact on race strategy and outcome, and it's been a much-requested feature by fans.

F1 2011 will be released on 23 September.

EA Sports has announced that it has an all-new FIFA Street title in development at FIFA studio EA Vancouver. It's unsurprisingly just called FIFA Street and apparently it'll bring an entirely new brand of flair and football to the series.

From "intense football action" to "freeflowing" trick and flair of Brazil, FIFA Street is looking to be the most authentic street football game yet, with motion-captured tricks from top tricksy footballers and the FIFA 12 Impact Engine. Featuring 35 environments including London, Tokyo, Rio, Shanghai, Paris and more, FIFA Street also includes licensed teams, players and all of the usual FIFA trimmings.

FIFA Street will also support connectivity with EA Sports Football Club, where you can keep track of your FIFA progress, and support for the EA Sports Season Ticket, so you can download the game three days early. FIFA Street is out in early 2012.
