[QUOTE="Quickee42"]:| And you had a bible on hand to flick through to find that!?lord_mordain
lol, no.
I found the exact verse ala Google.
But I have studied the Bible and many other religions, so I knew it would be there.
Oh right, I was worried there! I mean, it's not often that you come across someone that can just flick through and find their quotation in about twenty seconds... I've never studied the bible though, I've just read a couple of sites that give out the contradictions... I hope I do some time though, just to be a bit better informed. can't now though, I have no time. And no bible. What's their RRP?Can I borrow that list? I'm 18 in March! lol Nah... don't think I want to do any of those at the moment... especially as I don't live in Iowa, so our legal stuff is different.i turn 18 next month and have been thinking of things to do when i do, and i got a little list going
1. get a contract 2. get a tattoo 3. legally smoke 4. renew my license to adult 5. get a credit card 6. rent a hotel room 7. sign up for the draft 8. register to vote and jury duty 9. get married 10. Drive at any hour of the night. 11. do those online sweepstakes 12. star in a porn. yeah some good stuff. got any ideas?? I do live in iowa and some laws are different here than where you may be.

[QUOTE="Quickee42"][QUOTE="Anamosa41"]I believe the Bible in full, just like your friend.Anamosa41You can't believe in the bible in full, it contradicts itself e.g.How did Judas die? "And he cast down the pieces of silver into the temple and departed, and went out and hanged himself." (Matt. 27:5) "And falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all of his bowels gushed out." (Acts 1:18 ) Funny that, I didn't knoe that bowels could gush out by hanging yourself... unless that is your 'belief' too. When did the Bible say that the person was Judas Iscariot? We don't know for sure if the Bible is talking about the same Judas or two different people. The Bible does not contradict itself. I need to go for now but I will come back to this discussion. The bible does not contradict itself is a bold statement... especially as it does. Quite a lot in fact. Both quotations in fact referred to Judas there... http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/jim_meritt/bible-contradictions.html

It's hard to "believe" in something that has been proven to exist.foxhound_foxYou mean has not been proven to exist? If so, you've got it spot on there.
