[QUOTE="Zaber123"][QUOTE="R-Dogg"]

building ur own can be alot of fun (i am doing it now) but if u buy a pc premade chances are u might not be able to overclock it and u have to deal with warranties and company support (if needed)

idk alot about alien ware but i would, and am, making my own pc

eVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 640mb

500gb HD 7200 rpm

Quad core 3.8 ghz (then overclocking into the 4's)

and a logitech G15 Keyboad w/ G5 mouse

dayaccus007

What processor are you getting that's a 3.8 ghz quad core, cuz I don't think that exists.

I think he want to say after Overclock it will have 3.8Ghz Quad

ya a guy i know is gonna get me a quad with either 3.6 or 3.8 ghz, i have a connection through my moms work (im only 16) in a comp company that can get me good products at lower prices

i think PC gaming will pay off more then Console because of how big a rip off consoles are begining to be-

if u want a PS3 with wireless internet (a great way to avoid wire nusenses in ur house) u have to pay $100 more for the 60gb...what the hell are u gonna do with a 60gb game console...

but PC are moddable so u never have to go "Next-Gen" unless u want a new OS that comes around every 4 or so years.

the reason why PC games are as big or somewhat on the decline is because of the simplicity of Consoles, just turn them on and play, on a PC u have to mess with the graphics and see if ur pc is compatible with every specifice game, for consoles u just look and see "Xbox 360" and go, no questions asked

for normal people they will have to fork over alot of dough for a console that can only do 1 thing... game but they're really paying for the simplicity.

PC's worth it ... definately

Consoles worth it ... not if ur smart or computer talented

[QUOTE="skinnypete91"]Same as what AARONRULZ1 said, but Vista Home Premium, a Q6600 and 8800GTX if you can afford them + your choice of case :)AARONRULZ1

I seriously doubt that a 8800GTX is needed, the HD 2900XT with improved drivers come close to the GTX in some cases and a Quad Core is overkill.

Vista Basic supports Dx 10,i see NO reason to get Premium since Aero is a resource hog...

I HIGHLY ADVISE XP

vista is crap crap crap if u know anything about computers (or r a poweruser) its just plain horrible, stick with XP Pro and kno what ur doing

Vista Home Basic.
500GB HD is for you.
HD 2900XT.
X-Fi Xtremegamer.
Personally i don't trust wireless keyboards/mice just get a Logitech G15 Keyboard and G5 Mouse.
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R and E6750.
2GB CORSAIR XMS2 DDR2 675.

AARONRULZ1

this guy said all that needs to be said but for the graphix card i would go with a "eVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 640mb" its DX10 andwill be good forCrysis

"Logitech G#" items are very trustworthy so i would definately go with that over some wireless stuff but if u really want wireless check this out

Comp Case: Go with the "Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570" maximum PC gave it a 10/10 and a kickass so id go with it

i have very mixed reactions on this issue

i feel its a good idea to combine the multiplayer between console and pc and that its microsofts right to make u pay for a gold subscription HOWEVER if u have to get the subscription to play any multiplayer at all it would be communism.

Microsoft doesnt always see the big picture...vista sucks and will for a few more years so if they really want profit from Live they have to bring it to the XP Power-users who would actually know what they are doing.

the perfect senario for Live would be thatall games that share platforms could play eachother at the expense of a gold member ship to play anything, anywhere andanytime
