Dissapointing? No. I'd say it's more overrated. It isn't dissapointing. It's still a damn good game, but it shouldn't be a 9.5from nearly every game critic. The story is amazing, the multiplayer is good, and the graphics are average.

Gears Of War

No, no dude. I don't use my headset unless I'm talking with friends. Hey I do have a life-saving tip for you though - When not using the headset, do this:

1.) Hit the Xbox Guide Button

2.) Scroll all the way to the right to "preferences"

3.) Go to "Voice" and turn volume to zero.

What this does is it makes for a COMPLETELY silent voice system. You won't hear them out of the mic, or out of the TV - even if the mic is unplugged.So yeah, try that and you won't hear them cussing. Oh, and if you choose to hear again, go back and repeat the process, but this time turning it up to volume ten.

The money is not really the issue, but I do not like spending it when it makes sense not to. I could easily just get the arcade and throw my HDD onto it but I am trying to decide if there is any real reason to spend the extra cash and upgrade to the Pro or Elite.

If you already have an HDD there's really no reason to spend more cash on the more "advanced" models. It has everything you need.

Halo 3 is still the best game and one of the few reasons to even own a 360. I also like the Gears of War series although the first one was overrated and incredibly short.msharki

Huh. Really? ... I disagree. Halo 3 isn't all that great to be honest, and Gears Of War was amazing. I have a PS3 and to tell you the truth, I don't see why people compare them... because they are COMPLETELY different.

I'm not sure I'd go that far... 2K9 delivers a much more realistic simulation than Live, but I still wish they worked on the defensive gameplay a little more. NBA Live is fun, but is no where near as realistic as 2K9.

haha i have the same exact problem and cannot figure it out for the life of me. i can contest shots all day long and it always seems like 95% of the time they all go in. i just pray that the cpu or the person im playing will miss which does not seem to happen very oftenRaging-Cashew
