Got to Rank 4 after 4 matches tonight. I don't know - it just seems like the same laggy crud from before. Jumped back over to Gears 1 afterwards and had more fun in the 1 match I played than in the 4 Gears 2 matches - and I lead my team in points in 3 of those. It was nice to not be 2-pieced or lay on the ground for 10 seconds, though.

Agree 100%. I went back to Gears 1 about 6 weeks ago and haven't looked back. Gears 2 is a mess. Lag, terrible host advantage, "cartoonish" graphics vs Gears 1, glitches, slow gamepace, inaccurate weapons, noobified torque bow, weakened sniper, and the stun grenades - the FREAKIN' STUN GRENADES ruin just about every match I play. I just couldn't take it any more. I'll check out Gears 2 after the update, but I'm about 99% sure I'll be back on Gears 1 that very night.

Wow. Unbelieveable. Incredible. Gears of War is my #1 game of all-time for the 28 years that I've been gaming. I still play it nightly ever since release and can't get enough of it online.

The haters can eat crow. Gears 2 is going to be incredible - and in only 9 months from now! The 360 has its killer app for 2008! Rock on!

i disagree wih you some of my favorite games are starwars games it will be good you gain powers though out the game. and you fight jedi whitch are a bit stronger than stormtropersLastRedMage

You say this, but I can bet you that those Star Wars game that you cherish weren't made by the internal Lucas Arts development team - but by a 2nd party developer (Bioware, Pandemic, etc.). SWTFU is being made in-house and that alone scares me. The 1 year delay in the game only goes to back up my fears...

Chapter 12 in "Uncharted" is called "Up the River" The graphics in this level are not possible on any other console other than the PS3. The game is not only a complete blast from start to finish it also marks a turning point for the PS3. The game shows a level of polish and technical prowess not seen this gen and marks the start of the PS3 pulling away. I know all those who have played this level know exactly what i mean!Khansoul

Right now, I totally agree with the OP's comment IF you already own a 360. With only Resistence, HS, and Drake's Fortune currently on the system as games that appeal to me, I can't justify paying $399 or more to play those games. Maybe in a year or so, and maybe if the system gets down to $299, then I'd consider buying one. But, if you already own a 360, then I don't see anything that would pull me to buy a PS3.

That being said - if you don't own a 360, then the PS3 has a lot of great games on it (lots of them multiplat - COD4, RSV, GRAW2, etc.) that would justify a purchase. I still favor the 360's lineup over the PS3's, but I could see how someone would choose a PS3 overa 360.
