I just heard this joke and I thought I'd share. :)

One day a Genie appeared to a California man and offered to grant him one wish.
the man said: "I wish for you to build a bridge from here to Hawaii so I could drive there anytime."

The genie frowned. "I don't know. It sounds like quite an undertaking," he said. "Just think of the logistics. The supports required reaching the bottom of the ocean, the concrete, and the steel! Why don't you pick something else?"

The man thought for a while and then said, "Okay, I wish for a complete understanding of women. What they are thinking, why they cry and how to make a woman truly happy".

The Genie was silent for a minute, then said. "So how many lanes did you want on that bridge?"

Are there any favorite books of yours that you'd like to see made into films? Perhaps some graphic novel or comic? Maybe even a video game?

Is there any people you'd like to see work together?

For me I would love to see a movie made from Louis L'amour's - The Walking Drum. It's set in the 10th-11th Century Europe and Arabia and is a marvellous read. Another film I'd love to see made is Leon Uris' Battle Cry. Its about the marines in World War 2.

Ofcourse I'm just as eager as most of you to see a Justice League film.

As for who i'd like to see work together... I'm still waiting and hoping for a Spielberg film starring Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks. Albeit a well made Spielberg film.. like one of his old ones.

This summer might turn out to be very exciting after all.

The last Harry Potter book is releasing on July 21 and the new Spiderman movie will release this summer, too.

If we are lucky we might even see the last book of the Inheritance series this year... though there hasn't really been too much of news on that.

The latest season of Smallville is looking great so far and the last few episodes should hopefully get better and better.

Heroes will also be set to resume in a couple of weeks.

Now if only some network would pick up that Aquaman show...

Since this is TV.com and everybody here probably has one I thought this could be my first blog entry.

What I want to do here is do a small survey.

Answer these questions if you can spare the time.

1. What TV do you have?
2. Have you ever owned a Black and White TV set? 
3. What do you think is better? A Plasma or LCD? Why?

I recently invested in a 46" Pioneer high density Plasma. I actually did a lot of research on the Plasma v/s LCD thing and found that there was no concrete answe as different people said different things. Both had their pros and cons.

For instance... An LCD was said to have a problem with freezing pixels but gave a much richer picture. The Plasma was said to have a shorter life but came in larger sizes at cheaper prices. It also was proclaimed that it read far more colours than the LCD..

To date I don't know whats true and what isn't. But i'm happy with my TV.
