Make sure you have all the power cables plugged in to your card, my 8800 GTS made a high pitched squeel when i forgot to plug in the power to it.

Mine doesn't have one either. I'm guessing they decided to forgo the power indicator LED and just use the fans LED's as the indicator. They just didn't update the manual most likely.Dopeyman

Yep, this is correct. The antec 900 does not have a Power LED cable on the front panel connectors. The blue LED fans let you know that your PC is on.

Im not positive but i think if you buy OEM you cant call in to micrososft for tech support. Your operating system will also be tied to the motherboard you had in your system when you installed vista. If you swap motherboards in the future you cant use the same OEM disc for your new system.

You cant go wrong with the corsair 620 watt. Modular, low noise, and can power most anything out there. I have one and it works great.

I believe system builders refers to OEM software, and regular would probably mean retail version.

Yeah they dont really explain what screws to use for what devices. Looking into my antec 900 it looks like i used the phillips screws with a very flat even surface.

Hello

Just recently my computer stopped working right, what happens is when i turn the power on there are white blocks all over the screen( in a checkerboard like pattern). It goes through post and loading of windows into the login screen ( with white blocks still all over the screen) and once i click my username to log in the computer freezes and screen goes black.

My video card is an ATI X800xl i got about 2 years ago, is this most likely a video card problem?

Thanks for any help
