I have a :

4GBs of ram

Intel Core2duo processor P8700 (2.53GHz)

and ATi 4650 with 1GB of video ram

and windows 7

my main concern is the videocard. I know i probably wont be able to max out the game, but think id be able to play on medium settings with a decent (30+) frame rate?

That's not what they meant. MW2 is, by PC standards, a rather crappy game because of the utterly horrible netcode and attitude Infinity Ward have developed towards PC gamers.

yeah i know all the lame stuff about lack of dedicated servers and whatnot, and i'm still going to buy the game because i still think it's worth it

the most graphically intensive game id like to play on it would probably be modern warfare 2, think id be able to able to play with a decent frame rate on medium settings?

I have around $1000-$1200 to spend on a laptop, gonna be using it for school, probably some games and essentially a desktop replacement.

i was thinking of going with the sony vaio fw, anybody know if these are good laptops? any better laptops you'd recommend?
