[QUOTE="Pug-Nasty"]and the mac os was stolen from xerox point being? WRONG !!! Xerox's corporate headquarters declined the Graphic User Interface and mouse idea by there development team and when Apple showed an interest in purchasing it they made the " SALE " and instructed the development team to show Apple execs every detail of the development process and how it worked. Microsoft " STOLE ", they mislead Steve Jobs into believing that they were going to make software for the new Macintosh, the first computer with apples new Graphic User Interface O.S. and they got there hands on a prototype and pirated the software, turned it upside down and called it Windows. They beat apple to the world wide market by 6 months and stole one of the biggest fortunes in history, and from that moment on the world has been poisoned with Windows. They didn't even invent D.O.S. they bought it off a guy in New Mexico for $50,000 and licensed it to IBM for a fortune, so let's sum up.... Microsoft, talented business men ? Yes. Talented and innovative software developers, NO. there thieves, nothing more, they created NOTHING, they just stole. That's why the true colors of the real quality O.S. that was legitimately bought, studied and built on, is the most advanced one we have today and that of course is currently called MAC O.S.-X Snow Leopard. It's true, MS hasn't been innovating anything at all, even windows was stolen from the original Macintosh OS. I, personally, feel that Apple is the douche market, while MS is the fool market, and open source is the "what if" market.

You can go to Apples website just like Dell, and custom build your MAC with what ever you want, so you can have it like you want it. Next issue ?[QUOTE="RPG-explorer"][QUOTE="Vipa37"]
Macs have their place in society the thing is i will love a mac when i can actually build my own computer and put whatever hardware i want and then put the mac os on it till then macs are gonna be garbage until then. When you charge $2500 for a DESKTOP there is a serious problem with that. Like i said Macs are great if you make music and movies outside of that good luck defending it.

Can you manually upgrade your mac?
Yes you can buy any, hard drive, video card, ram, what ever and open it up and install it, obviously the Imacs would be more delicate to upgrade then the Power Mac towers but they can all be upgraded. You can go to Apples website just like Dell, and custom build your MAC with what ever you want, so you can have it like you want it. [QUOTE="RPG-explorer"][QUOTE="iliatay"] LOL mac users dont put up their specs because they are an utter embarrassment for them. we like to put up our specs because its a hobby and we want to share and see what other people have. Also, notice how noone else here except for you have defended apple.Yeah your PC's have to be a hobby, because if you don't like to work on PC's then they'll never work right, and the people who don't are Apples biggest customers, it's like your average woman with a new car, she doesn't want to know how it works, or what she can do to keep it running smooth, she just wants to turn the key and have it start right up and run smoothly. That's a MAC just turn it on and it works, no constant maintenance, no spyware or spamware, or antivirus running, MAC's just work, no pop ups no updates interrupting programs or internet surfing, they just work. PC's require constant updates or upgrades and the computer savvy feel the need to call it a "HOBBY" because it's a nice way of saying that it doesn't perform well out of the box so they have to constantly upgrade it and maintain it in order for it to function properly and most people don't want to be bothered with all that. So you are a woman? You've completely missed my points in my other post. seems like you're trying to come up with valid points but you fail to do so.

No but, great rebut on my response, typical PC reply i guess.
Macs are fun to use, easy and simple. That being said, they offer less in what they can do and how they can be customized. Plus to that we have some heavy restrictions on how Macs play games and generally at a weaker level for equivalent dollar/euro value. As a gamer, a Mac book is a waste of money. As a supplement to your desktop to take to work/lectures/whatever its pretty damn good. Thing is, its a very, very expensive supplement.. alextherussianTHATS WHY WE HAVE GAME CONSOLES.
Why is it PC fanboys say MAC users like myself make fools of themselves when speaking on Apples behalf but they always come in here and feel it necessary to show us a list of there PC specs, as if there trying to convince us that they have a new up to date superior machine, could it be because they feel insecure about there precious Windows operating system, knowing thats it's garbage so they have to try and brag about the hardware. MAC users never feel obligated to list there specs, maybe it's because we have and have always had an innovative and reliable operating system, funny you never hear about the reliability of a Windows O.S., most likely because it's not. At least i can speak from experience i've owned both and mastered both operating systems and sub-systems and Windows is pure garbage and always will be, and as for there larger market share, thats what happens when your the first to the world wide mass market with a new product like the Graphic User Interface, but as we've already seen first doesn't always mean better. So please don't comment on hardware and O.S. systems you know nothing about, because as far as i can remember when both Windows Vista and O.S.-X Leopard came out within months of each other it was Apples new operating system receiving all the great press and reviews from the media, while Microsoft was being slammed and ridiculed as Vista turning out to be there biggest joke yet.you're making a complete fool out of yourself. i've seen carrots with more computer knowledge than you. mac is unix based so to even do half the things that windows can, you'd have to learn unix. macs are completely centered around 14 year-old girls that do nothing but surf and play music. nothing in a mac justifies the lunatic price with that crap hardware and the OS that doesnt let you actually "operate" the operating system but your just there to share the mac experience. [QUOTE="RPG-explorer"][QUOTE="i5750at4Ghz"]It's kinda hard to grow when you have 90%+ of a market. Windows will be top dog for years to come.
