I think evolution guided by the hand of God is possible, but not to the extent a lot of people think. If we evolved from apes, then whey are there still apes?murlow12

sigh......................someone else tell him...

If the Earth was any closer to the sun, we would not exist. NO LIFE AT ALL!!

If Earth was any farther from the sun, we would not exist. NO LIFE AT ALL!!

Just the right amount of gases somehow were put on the Earth which created a perfect atmosphere.

This all happened by an accident? By chance? I dont think so.........

qwerty2305

Actually if it was slightly further or closer, life would have simply evolved differentally so organisms could fit the different enviroments...

Nope, nothing could have possibly lived. It would be too cold or to hot for anything to live. If Earth was closer to the sun, there would be no such thing as water. Water is essential for life.

So you're saying that life couldn't have adapted likethe artic circle where temperatures are generally below 0 celcius? Well I hate to tell you but.......

If it was too cold, there would not be enough Sunlight. Now we need sunlight for plants to grow. We need plants for food and oxygen. So no species or life could survive if we were to far away from the Sun.

If we were to close however. The Planet and all life on it would burn to a crisp. There would be no water on the Earth. WATER IS ESSENTIAL TO LIFE!!!!!!

If that was true than life wouldn't evolved on this planet, however, on some planet out of the many many planets in the universe, the conditions would be met somewhere, you seem to have a very large misunderstanding of the adaptability of life, and it's ability to cope in extreme enviroments, and I suggest that you read up on the subject; here's a good book on the subject.

Just for consistency's sake what created the "designer"

Nobody knows if there is life on other planets in other galexies. Nobody even knows if there are other planets in those galexies. Once again its all about chance, and guessing if there is life somwhere else. Nobody knows.

And nobody KNOWS if god exists.
But to think that god only created humans is moronic
and to think that the univers, which is so infinitely huge, has no other life forms on other planets is absolutely ignorant.

ESSENTIAL FOR EARTH LIFE!!!There was a story in the bible where god nourished people off of mana. MANA! water? - no mana.
Is god the only being able of producing mana? maybe some weird electromagnetic shrine on some far off planet is capable. maybe aliens can create it. So i think there is a way to survive without water.

Are some people here dense? Life on Earth cannot survive without water. Life on Earth cannot survive without plants.

If Earth was too far from the sun, no plants= no life on Earth.

If Earth was to close, no water= no life on Earth.

Its as simple as that. No other species could survive, nothing!

Im not talking about other planets, other species. Im talking about us Humans and Animals.

Then youre saying that god only created the earth and not the whole universe >_>

Well, I'm sure you have an excellent source on this.. Let's hear it! Also, what difference does it make if Earth is closer or further away from the sun for the enlighted creationist?

Its a sign of an intelligent designer. Earth was placed in a perfect position suitable enough for support life. Any further or closer, no life could survive on Earth.

Yeah, thats why were not living on mercury, or mars.....
Earth isnt here because of humans
Humans are here because of earth.

You dont know that. All life needed on EARTH requires water. thats why WE (Humans and animals and what not) live on earth.

Omfg. When earth was created, the atmosphere didnt just magically appear you know, it grew here. Before all life on earth, there wasnt any water.

I choose Creationsm. Here is my proof of an intelligent designer.

Many examples showing God's design could be given, possibly with no end. But here are a few:

The Earth...its size is perfect. The Earth's size and corresponding gravity holds a thin layer of mostly nitrogen and oxygen gases, only extending about 50 miles above the Earth's surface. If Earth were smaller, an atmosphere would be impossible, like the planet Mercury. If Earth were larger, its atmosphere would contain free hydrogen, like Jupiter.3 Earth is the only known planet equipped with an atmosphere of the right mixture of gases to sustain plant, animal and human life.

The Earth is located the right distance from the sun. Consider the temperature swings we encounter, roughly -30 degrees to +120 degrees. If the Earth were any further away from the sun, we would all freeze. Any closer and we would burn up. Even a fractional variance in the Earth's position to the sun would make life on Earth impossible. The Earth remains this perfect distance from the sun while it rotates around the sun at a speed of nearly 67,000 mph. It is also rotating on its axis, allowing the entire surface of the Earth to be properly warmed and cooled every day.

And our moon is the perfect size and distance from the Earth for its gravitational pull. The moon creates important ocean tides and movement so ocean waters do not stagnate, and yet our massive oceans are restrained from spilling over across the continents.

Evolutionists need alot of chance and luck for their theory to work.

qwerty2305

Actually, everthing you've mentioned demonstrates evolution perfectly, in that species adapt to their enviroment based upon the various qualitys of the enviroment, if conditions differed slightly, then life would have adapted differentally.

Its got nothing to do with Evolution. Im talking about where the Earth is positioned.

So Lets say the Big Bang did happen. What are the chances of putting Earth the exact right distance from the sun, and our moon. The Big Bang was meant to be an accident. So how did this "accident" place Earth a perfect distance from the Sun. How did it place our moon just the right distance away from us. There is too much chance and luck involved there.

um...CHANCE?~?!!? Godamnit.....
