Same here. I thought they would speak too fast. :P But it was nice.

I remember I had looked up who played the faun and then I found out someone else was his voice.

The faun was really awesome.

Teenaged

Yes. There's one scene where the faun disspears behind a couch... That was supposed to have been really difficult to do with all the prosthetics and stuff, but the guy did it, and gracefully as well. I just thought it was awesome, lol.

I guess, but it shouldn't be, I leave the font color code in. I guess GS adds some random tags when you add the color. thriteenthmonke

It would not surprise me....

And where is that pic from? O.o

what movies do you like?Wolls

Action, sci-fi, fantasy. Some drama, comedy, and horror. So long as the horror movie doesn't make me mad :x

It is just all around fantastic.. It's unique...a dark adult fairy tale. It's symbollic. The performances are superb. The imagery is imaginative.

It's perfect movie, really...

Treflis

Can you{or anyone} tell what's the story is all about?

The movie opens with a fairy tale. Ofelia, a young girl who loves to read, lies on the ground, bleeding, while the narration explains that Princess Moanna of the Underground Realm, curious about the world above, escapes to the Earth, where the sun blinds her and, forgetting her past, she weakens and dies. Nonetheless, her father retains hope that her spirit will eventually return to him. The story then cuts to post-Civil War Spain in 1944, with Francisco Franco firmly in power. Ofelia is traveling with her pregnant mother Carmen to join Captain Vidal, her new stepfather and father of Carmen's unborn child, at his post in the mountains where he is rooting out Spanish Maquis guerillas. Ofelia discovers a stick insect that she believes to be a fairy, which follows her to the mill where Vidal is stationed. She chases it into an ancient Labyrinth nearby, where she meets Vidal's housekeeper, Mercedes, who treats her kindly but takes her home. Later that night, Ofelia overhears Mercedes and the local doctor conspiring to help the rebels. After waking her in the middle of the night, the insect appears in Ofelia's bedroom where it changes into a fairy and leads her outside and through the Labyrinth. There, she meets a Faun, who says that he believes her to be Princess Moanna. He gives her three tasks to complete before the full moon to ensure that her "essence is intact" so that she can return to her father's realm. It's a very Adult themed fairy tale movie.

There is more to it than that though. But me posting that would ruin the ending, lol

Lol well i havnt seen Saw but its not just what happens to the mouse, that makes me cry, the whole movie is all so beautiful, and Tom Hanks is my favourate actor :)

Wolls

Eh... Saw is mostly a shock movie. Not so much horror.

[QUOTE="Wolls"] Lol same here, same when i quote Yandere when he posts pics :Pthriteenthmonke
Quoting pics always gives me html errors, but Raeyi's posts are the only pic free posts that consistently give me html errors. There are always these random "br" tags.

O.o Ok, how about now? I don't see those tags... That's weird.

That is a weird pic :?

I loved it. Yes, it's in Spanish. But it's the story that makes the movie winz. It's not what you expect it to be. You start the movie and the ending is completely different than what you would have guessed at the beginning.

Plus, I loved the care that was taken with the special effects. It adds a lot to the movie.

Teenaged

Actually I was one of those people who thought it wouldnt be good because its in Spanish. But actually it was because of that, that I really liked this film.

I thought it could get on my nerves (like the Thai in Ong Bak did); I watched it subtitled  Plus, the guy that played Pan or the Faun, he actually learned the lines in Spanish, so that when they re-dubbed over his voice, the facial movments would match up. And he was Abe in Hellboy :D

Days go by - dirty vegas is such a good song too. Aw. It's probably because of the text color. But I don't know why? O.o

Was shopping fun? ^_^

It was dammmm good, i totally didnt see the twist coming :)

Thanks for the surgestion, but how can you not enjoy the green mile, its the saddest movie ever

Wolls

That's why. The mouse made me almost cry :( I cannot watch movies that have mean stuff done to animals in them... Yet Saw didn't bother me that much. Go figure
