I've also always thought it makes more sense for vegetarians to eat ham/turkey rather than fish. When you buy slices of ham from the shops they're just slabs of pink. However when you buy fish it comes with a face and everything - that look in their eyes as if to say "How could you!"tofu-lion91

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... I just love how hilarious posts get here at gamespot. :D

Turkeys don't suffer either...or chickens...i think more of the larger animals..in some cases do...but becoming a vegetarian is pointless..what exactly are you proving...that your nice to..animals..? Go adopt an animal from a homeless shelter then..

Xx_Hopeless_xX

By becoming vegan/vegetarian you don't really try to prove anything. You try to stop being a consumer so that whoever is abusing the animal stops since his customers are gone. But that is really hard to achive, since you need a fair amount of people to do this...

But who Im talking about still eats a good amount of animal products. So yeah, Id say shes a hypocryte.

^^ Epic post. Nevertheless, cruelty doesn't need to cause trauma for it to be cruelty. You can be cruel to someone with alzhimers and even when he forgets whatever you did to him you were cruel.

Exactly. I know someone who became vegetarian a few days ago. It's not because of health, its because she "became aware of the cruelty done to animals."

I asked her if she ate fish. she said yeah. she also eats a variety of products that are taken from animals, which basically kills the cause.

Funny, huh?

Wouldn't it be hypocritical if a vegetarian ate fish?

Computer gaming beats console gaming, in many (if not all) aspects. Computer components are being updated pretty darn fast so even trying to defend the console would be senseless (when referring to hardware). Now, there are other factors that affect ones opinnion when deciding which to buy. For instance a "gamer" might feel intimidated by the idea of having to build their own gaming pc or having to buy a high end pc to game that would surely be expensive. And not to mention that one might fel "at home" with consoles. Personally, I have neither a ps3, xbox 360 or pc. (Im a proud owner of a wii) But if I could afford any of the three id choose the PC. It might seem expensive at first but i believe in the longrun its cheaper to update than to buy a new console. But it goes back to what you preffer. I can easily see why people would choose a console. Its plug and play. While PC need to install the software. In any case Id prefer to install if im getting the game 20 dollars cheaper. On that note: PC hardware > Console hardware Comfort> Hardware

Learn to program. Make your own game. Start simple.

Personally, I gave up. I hate math (as it's basically learning some kind of algebra/language)

It's also frustrating, as to even make a game as simple as Pacman requires pages of complex code.

Uhmm, but are you certain that Games like the ones I listed previously are codded in the samme way? 0.o
