Just a small blog post. I think it's quite impressive, though I wouldn't buy one.

I currently have PS1- PS3 consoles in my home. (I've had a gamecube and 64 in here also) Recently I've come across the perfect conditions to buy a PSP. At first I considered to buy a Nintendo DS, however I came across these benefits for:

1- Needed an Audio, Video Player (from UMD and MSPD)
2- Internet
3- Price of a medium cost media player ($150)
4- Large screen
5- Nice Looking
6- GPS Bonus!!!!
7- PLAYS GAMES
8- Plays flash games
9- Connect to PS3

The benefits are overwhelming and after I've had my PS3 a couple of days now I am very happy.

Well i finally seen POTC 3  (well actually the day it came out, I'm just late in posting this)

I thought it was ok, however SM3 was better , IMHO.  Also I liked the 2nd (POTC) better than the last, and the second better than the first.

So far I haven't been wowed too much, but SM 3 was pretty good.

 

Now Tranformers I've heard alot of good things about it,  and with Micheal Bay,  and co director (or is it producer) Steven Spielberg

I don't know where they can go wrong, however there are always little things, but for the whole summer I think it'll be my favorite.  I don't want to leave out  Fantastic 4, however I reserve judgement, though the first wasn't exceptional, IMHO.

Since then I've gotten AC4, and Motorstorm.

During summer break I'll probably post reviews, however I've scored them already. 

 

can't wait for Spiderman though,  don't go see Redline.  Although if that's your type of movie or if you're drunk go see it.. (not saying that you gotta be drunk to like it , however I know people that drink during movies.  and this is one that if you do that it'll be more fun,  so I've heard)

Vista

I got Vista Business (one before Ultimate) from my school and I have installed it on a separate CLEAN 160gb SATA (30gb/s) HDD.  I also upgraded my ram to 2gb  and I have a x1950gt  (bang for buck for poor student).
Unfortunately Vista doesn't recognize it, let alone AMD Ati's own catalyst can't even find the hardware plugged in.  Because of this I haven't been on it or been able to use any programs that are graphically inclined, aero desktop, videogames etc.  However just yesterday I found a CAtalyst 7.2 beta driver and installed it.  IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!

So now I'm going to migrate all my programs and documents from this HDD to my vista and continue from there.

For you naruto fans as you may wel know Shippuden is now out  (Hurricane Chronicles), so make sure you check it out, it's the start of something good.

Movies

Of course alot of people have seen the latest trailer for transformers, but this is for those who haven't.



Can't wait for this movie, it's highly anticipated, and I wanna put sometrust in the "system" and see if they can pull out a good transformer movie. I like transformers, but I'm not really into it. I know the basics. next year though i'm gonna be broke cause there is a lot of potentially great movies coming out. Pirates, F4 Rise of the Silver Surfer (I know hte first sucked but maybe?) Spiderman. Of course there are alot of other movies but those are the ones you hear of most, along with Harry Potter of course.

Also there is Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez GRINDHOUSE coming out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it??

Consoles

In my previous blog entry, I kind of stated that I thought the Wii guy guy was pretending, however with recent news, I guess it's true. Although I still think that screen looks to big and thick for it to crack like that, it's still a problem I guess.


In other news, I GOT A PLAYSTATION 3. Actually it's old news, i got my PS3 the Tuesday after launch. EB called me on Tuesday after calling me twice, once to ask me if I wanted the 20gb and second to ask again. The third time was for me to pick up my PS3 60gb. Sweet Since then I'v eheard Sony has been shipping PS3's every week or so. Few people know this so spread the knowledge cause stores are starting to stock them and people have just given up. I beat Resistance and I'm now currently playing online. I'm so used to playing Counter Strike with a mouse that using a controller is getting me owned. I can't wait for UT 2007 with keyboard and mouse support.

Next Up I also dled alot of demos especially the GTHD out today, and the RR7 demo. however this demo is not in the US PS Store. How to get it? Follow these instructions:

• Logout of the PSN (playstation network)
• Create a new user account (with any name you want, I made up a fake japanese name.
• Make sure you google or find an address in Hong Kong or japan. (not verified if it actually matters, you could make one up)
• Sign up for a new PSN (I made a NEW one instead of one that goes off of your US account)
• Sign in
• Go to the Store and enjoy

Note: Make sure you sign up for Hong Kong (since it's in english, the japanese version is in japanese) They are both, though, part of hte PSN of Asia. Use the made up address for when prompted. Any other question please ask me.

Yeah talking about me. I've hit almost 1100 posts in the forums, sweet!!!!! I'm counting the days till PS3 and Wii comes out, ownagez. School's been pretty easy this year, however I think I'm jinxing myself when I say that. I got a sweet media player (plays music and movies etc, like an ipod) that I will review later. That alog with a bunch of reviews for other electronic devices and hardware that I have. Also my thoughts on how PS3's launch will go and or my impressions of PS3 (kiosk).

3D Fan

No I'm not talking about a 3d fan, I'm talking about people who love 3D art, etc. Something cool to look at from the New York Times

Yeah you heard right technology that actively mimics an actor's exact expression. That's in layman's terms. You may think they already do this, and they do to an extent. However much of it is done from a human modeler. This is done totally by software in realtime. Wish I could show the image for a better picture, but you are just gonna have to click the link.

PC

For as of late I've been going to schol alot and actually been very sick for the past couple of days, feeling better though now. I don't believe in wireless gaming mice, because quite simply I've had bad experiences with them for a while. However after recently buying a kenginton wireless mouse and playing CSS for a while, I've gotten used to it and have gotten quite efficient in killing again. However I want to go laser from now on. For those who follow pc gaming and mice and keyboard and such I'm sure you've came across this baby




Don't it look so good. Wireless, laser, comfortable, etc etc. It's not a full gaming mouse but it's definitely IMHO the best looking yet.

Not only is she pretty but she's got a computer science degree, and is a producer at Ubisoft. As said in the blog post below she makes me wanna play every game at Ubisoft. Granted Ubisoft has many good games, but also has their fair share of bad ones, however this game does have great ideas and they will be executed very well and level on the PS3 and 360. Vixens

Speaking of women, is anyone tired of the big busted vixens in gaming. No I'm not talking about women in gaming. I'm talking about those big busted women with enormously misproportioned bodies. It's getting really annoying. Of course women in gaming = good. And women playing games = better. But I think this cliche should end. There should be more women in games that are more realistic, actually IMHO I think all women should have a real life look alike. However in gaming there should be some women who are seemingly unrealistic since it takes us away from the normal world. Oh well I guess I'm just hoping devs take some advice from valve and make more women like Alyx.
