Just now, I had the most AMAZING game experience ever. This has never happened before, and I am not sure if I can explain it properly, but, I will. I bought Super Mario Galaxy 2 a while ago and put it on a pile because I had to finish a few games first. So today I get to it. I have played a few hours and cannot put it down. This game actually made me smile. I never have smiled from a game. Things happen in this game that make you genuinely smile! Also, this will sound stupid, but, while playing, some creature waved at me, and I waved back! It was a natural reaction. This game is so colourful and PERFECTLY designed and crazy that you almost want to cry playing it. You think to yourself, "There is a God!". I will never be able to explain how good this game is, but, I can not believe a human brain was capable of designing so much fun in one game. The colours, design and especially music invade your body and pull you into a bizzare world. There are so many game mechanics and things happening, yet, it is so simple to understand. Also, the Wiimote adds an extrodinary depth to the game. It feels so natural and dream-like, you want to just live in this world. The game is also extremely hard after a while, but, because of the sheer fun, you don't care. Anyway, has anyone EVER had a similar experience with any other game? Has anyone felt things that they hadn't in a game before, or, had some type of emotional experience? What game was it and what part of the game? PS - I kind felt similar in Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but this game is on a whole new level. PSS - Do yourself a favour and play this game. If you have no Wii, then buy one just for this game. Seriously, it is on such a different level to any other game I have played, I can't even explain it. If you don't believe me, read Gamespot's review on it...

Article:http://www.examiner.com/x-55715-Seattle-Nintendo-Examiner~y2010m7d11-Used-games-are-almost-as-bad-as-piracy

"When a person walks into a game store, they often times have two options: buy a new game or buy a used game. With tight economies around the world, the prospect of buying a used game becomes much more attractive. Unfortunately for developers, this means they don't get a cent of the profits every time one of their games are resold. While video game pirates take most of the headlines, many have been admitting that used games can also be just as damaging..."

While I personally buy my games new, I know a lot of people who get used ones even if it doesn't save them much. While it seems like common sense now that I know about it, I never actually thought about developers not receiving profits from used games. Used games are of course legal, but they have the same financial impact as pirating a game in some ways. I wonder if more people would stop buying used games (especially ones that cost near full price) if they realized developers were not benefiting from it.

I disagree with this crap. If I PAY for a game, then it is mine and I can sell it to whom I like. What next; you can't sell a second hand car? If gaming companies feel ripped off, then they should stop selling games at stupidly high prices.

No. The reason PCs died as a gaming platform was a) everyone had different setups, so, if you upgraded your PS3 and someone else didn't, then developers would still have to make games play on the lower denominator. b) PCs were too expensive to keep upgrading just for games. c) Because consoles are dedicated to games, they use all their power for games.

the mario & luigi rpgs becaue they were the first to add the player having to make motions for an attack rather than just sit and watch. also zelda TP had motion controls. This was aweseome for an action rpg.
