Oh the irony!!!! I just visited the thread from a kid asking how to take off the three hour a day limit on his 360 (put there by his parents) and basically every post was telling him to "get a life" or "hang with friends". I have a news flash: We are all members on a VIDEO GAME WEBSITE. That pretty much makes us all nerds. And I bet half of you play for longer than he does per day (about 6 hours). Now, I'm not saying that that is healthy, but I know that I wouldn't complain if I had 6 hours a day to game (I don't, actually not even close unfortunately). I just think it's ridiculous for nerds to call each other nerds. Let's face it, none of us are "cool" by the traditional definition. And there's nothing wrong with that. Figured I would make a thread to see if anyone else is annoyed by the constant "get a life" statements frrom other gamers.

BTW, I am married, work a lot, and am in college, so please spare me the "get a girlfriend" or "get a job" rhetoric I am sure this will attract.

Honestly, I think it's awful how many Americans (or anyone with the ability to attend for that matter) talk about hateing school. They have no idea the advantage they have. Some people work their entire lives toward being able to learn. Some people aren't even ALLOWED to learn.

We have books upon books at our disposal and what do we do? We spend hours and hours watching a flashing mindless tube and saving the princess.


I wish to see the day when people actually appreciate the advantages thrown in their laps instead of complaining about it.
