lol. Its their excuse to sacrifice themselves. Clearly the terrorists got the wrong end of the stick. The intension of going to war to protect your country or religion is for the sake of Allah, not for the virgins. Shows how much actual islamic knowledge terrorists lack.I never understood the whole dying for virgins thing... its like the muslims suppress sex so much on earth with veils etc.but there main focus on terrorism is to get sex in there version of heaven... essentially there the hornyest of all, to strap a bomb to there chest for sex

oh. why did you put something like this up? That last statement was really offensive. Tell me sir, how would I act if you put a picture of Mohammad ? Go ahead and do it and meet epic failure at how little of a reaction it will get from me!! Apparently, you have already concluded that I must be some extremists muslim who reacts violently to anything that insults my religion. You probably were ridiculing me with that dandy post from the movie werent you because otherwise nothing you are saying is making sence[QUOTE="anasbouzid"][QUOTE="Snakewiseman"] no there isnt its from a movie stop getting so offended its not like I put a picture of mohammad upSnakewiseman
He's Got a GUN!!! jk I never said that you were a extremist I was poking fun at extremists. but you know what would be nice though if the extremists wouldnt be so cowardly that they have to hide amoungst civilians thus instituting a "wow you never know if that guy is" mentality. frankly there is grounds for suspicion of every muslim(not saying you are) its not 90 year old grandmothers doing terror 99% of the time its these mislead terrorists that think there accomplishing something by killing innocent people. can you really blame people for the stigma caused by an ever growing non uniformed rebel group responsible for thousands of american deaths
You know, i completely get where you are coming from, but thats a little harsh labelling every muslim as terrorist hence why they are banning the veil. Why the suspicion may be there, 90% of the muslims do not live and believe in extreme behavior that has been portrayed. Infact, if people did research about Islam and looking at role models i.e. Shiekh Muhammad Al Yaqoubi, people will know muslims are infact some of the nicest people. If the tables were reversed and say all the bad actions that muslims done were actually done by christians or jews, i wouldnt label all the Jews and Christians as terrorists as its only a small minority. Its the press that corrupts our mind to believing so.[QUOTE="anasbouzid"]Bend over backwards? Like it does for the jews and Israel. No....not nearly so!!! (no offense) Seriously, its not that you are willing to do much, its that you arent willing to do anything but what your heart so desires for yourself and select group of people that you like. Well actually im all for it if you want to walk around in a veil, i dont care if it hides your face and makes people warry of you, thats your problem. However i dont like the fact that you have decided that it should come above all other common sense. You have to accept that it is bassically a mask and that going into places such as banks etc masks are not allowed for obvious reasons. im not sure what country you are from (Im guessing its USA for obvious reasons) but the local area i live (Birmingham UK) and I myself (accountant) who works at Lloyds have regular muslim clients who wear hijaabs, niqaabs (veils), and boss and managers do not say to remove any form of gear, and before you say "they must be muslim", they are not. Even if it was, if you ask kindly enough for idenfication reasons, they will be happy to show their face, but going as far as banning is just pathetic. Veils are assosiated with muslim women, who are considered harmless as its the "extreme muslim men" who have caused the havok, so how this reflects upon becoming a banning and law is stupid. Banning is going as far as public too, can a woman not wear a niqaab/veil to go to the park or for a walk?[QUOTE="Wolls"] So what you expect the country to bend over backwards for something that your religion says you must do even if it might compromise the security of its citizens?Wolls
[QUOTE="anasbouzid"][QUOTE="Wolls"] Also i dont see american culture changing that much. The fact is country's in the middle east have their own laws and so do places like America and the UK, it is not for you to come over and expect their laws to change for your sake as it is not an american's right to demand laws changing Iran etc.Wolls
No, this country makes promises to all its citizens no matter their origins be it germany or saudi arabia and that is freedom of speech, freedom of religion and much more. This necessitates and adaptive law system which we have.
So what you expect the country to bend over backwards for something that your religion says you must do even if it might compromise the security of its citizens? bend over backwards? Sorry but where the hell has this law been for the last 10 decades? No where. This doesnt change the fact the people have been wearing variety of veils, scarfs, turbans etc for a very long time. Its only now they want to take action against it and only at 1 specific religion too. Coincidence much? dont think so.Funny, its ok for a woman to walk around with skimpy tart tops and low skirts that only requires a little movement to see their private parts, but suttle clothing like the veil must be banned. Slapper vs Modesty? Ill take modesty thank you very much :)We're not in the Middle East here, there's no reason to wear them.
