Coming from a PS3 owner I would most definitely love to have a service come close to XBL and its arcade..

Because GS shows respect to developers, publishing companies and gamers. Simply put, a game should be reviewed once it is out. Otherwise, all these other gaming sites which are looking for traffic with early reviews can:

1. Be manipulated by the developers, who might allow them to post a review before the release date, but if the gaming site apply "favorable" rating.

2. Be "slated" by developers and publishers if the game does not receive a good rating before release thus lowering sales projections and cash inflow. (yes, some gamers look for review and buy or do not buy based on that)

So GS is doing the right thing:

1. Wait until the game is out, so they can give an objective, fair rating without any prejudices towards to aforementioned entities.

2. Shows respect towards the developers and publishers.
