I think they should follow the Dragon Age Origins or Jade Empire model, where there are certain characters that can only be romanced by a specific gender, while others are open to relationships with either gender because of their personalities (but maybe add, for example, a male character can only be romanced by another male character because he's gay That seems like a decent balance between a semi-realistic portrayal of relationships and gaming.

I've played Naruto: Path of the Ninja, even though it got a 6, because the concept of playing a Naruto RPG was incredible. I enjoyed it even if it had some tedious issues and, most importantly, I didn't regret having played it.

I feel the same way about the series as Shaun. I liked the first game OK but the second one really hooked me. And just that single video of the Truth made me start loving it. It completely put a twist on what I thought the Assassin's Creed universe was about. So I really hope the next Assassin's Creed is a numbered one (I heard it is) and trims down all the unnecessary fat. And on the point of iced rooftops, I don't know about playing an Iced open world. That would just be pure griefing. Whatever that means.

It's a great article and a really good read. One thing that has continually boggled me is Capcom's archaic training mode. Their fighting games are usually bare-bones and the training mode is just next to useless. Anyway, completely off-topic, there should totally be a video game character named Maxwell McGee.

I'm a little sad that Uncharted 3 wasn't on anyone's list. But very happy about Ghost Trick getting recognition. Just a fabulous game.

To people saying at how they should worry about bigger things than video games, I'd say to go back to your playpen. This isn't just about videogames, it's about minors who play them. Regardless of how they're wrong about video games or how stupid it might seem, they're doing this to protect kids and teens (no matter how mature) from harmful effects, and that is just as important as issues on drugs and/or war.

@francisismyhero And you just made all the GameSpot crew cringe by mixing GameSpot and GameStop. Lol sorry dude, couldn't resist.
