All is well in the Nintendo camp tonight! Pricing: great; not mind-blowingly great, but still pretty sweet. I'm sure they could have gone closer to 200, and probably will when they release a game-free setup. Extra stuff could have stood be a little cheaper, moreso the controllers than the virtual console. Timing: a thing of beauty. We all know every PS3 in existence will be spoken for within 5 minutes on day 1. The Xbox comparison Jason made will be nothing compared to this. Package: BONUS!!!: could have tossed in a classic controller, or extra remote/nunchaku set, but Wii Sports is an excellent choice. Nice intuitive hello to outsiders and good fun for gamers. Wii Channels: They're kinda cool, I like how VC games are given channels, but has there been any word of a keyboard?

Don't feel bad, rennettio. Maybe it'll mean any kinks we encounter (*snicker* from Nintendo? yeah right) will be smoothed out by the Europe release. At least they didn't promise it'd be a simul-release and take it back. It's nice to see SOME companies don't have to backpedal.
