Are there many dungeons in AoC?

Actually, my bad, I have FEAR Platinum edition so the retail version is patch 1.8 anyways. I followed the link and installed/updated the directx version there. I decided to run the game again to see if that worked but after about 40 min of play I got the red snow effect agaiin then blue screen followed by a restart. It's only FEAR platinum that doesn't work, I can run WoW, WAR and Warhammer 40k dawn of war 1 just fine.
Bought FEAR Gold awhile ago, installed it started playing. Problem is that after an hour or so of playing my screen goes into a snowflake like effect, I get a killer blue screen, then my PC restarts. When i get back to my desktop vista pops up a window saying my nvidia driver crashed. I have all the updated drivers and I can't think of why it would do this.
One person told me that it could be I don't have the latest directx 9c version or something like that, but I have no clue how to tell if I have it or where to get. I'm afraid to run FEAR now because I'm worried the crashes could harm my PC. Any help would be much appreciated.
When playing FEAR, several times I have gotten a 'red snowflake' effect followed by Blue Screen then a windows restart. Upon coming back to my desktop after rebooting, Windows says the problem is with the Nvidia Driver. Numerous times i have uninstalled (in safe mode) the driver and reinstalled it again but the same crash still happens while I am playing FEAR. I am running an EN8800 GT btw.
I really have no clue what to do now as I have tried everything, is there any way this can be fixed? Should I bring it to a computer store to get checked or anything, because I have no clue what I can do. Thanks in advance.
I have an ASUS EN8800GT Top 512M graphics card. I had to delete my dirver due to problems I had with my driver before which I had downloaded from the Nvidia site, and yes I had downloaded the correct driver. I was searching for the driver on the ASUS site but their 'asus navigation wizard' won't install on my computer for some reason, and ultimately I failed to find the dirver I need for it.
Would it be ok for me to download a normal GeForce 8800GT driver or do i need a different one because my card is ASUS made and is a EN8800GT TOP instead of a normal 8800GT? I need to download the driver because I do not have a disk for it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
