no, you COULD interpret it like that, but thats not what i got out of it at all. He was crazy and Chuck was actually his doctor. At the end, he regresses back to his Ted personality. HOWEVER, i have a feeling that actually he was lying and pretending to be Ted so that they would kill him...wolverine4262The evidence in the film strongly supports this. He was delusional for most of the film because he was so traumatized by the deaths of his children and his subsequent murder of his wife. Once he realizes the truth, he intentionally acts insane in order to be lobotomized, thus removing the memories and pain. "You can either live as a monster or die as a man" is roughly the final line, meaning he cannot deal with his monstrous acts and wishes to mentally "die" (lobotomy) as the upstanding federal agent.

There was this guy I know who acted all weird after he listened to music so loud that some neighbors called the cops on him.

Might he have actually been drunk?
[QUOTE="Unforgiven2870"]what do you mean by not being able to choose??? When someone says, "you have two options for Xbox 360 controller, wireless or wired Microsoft brand," does that sound like a choice to you? That's not the true consumer choice though. The real statement would be, "You have three options for video gaming on a console at home: Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, and all of their corresponding games and accessories." Nobody is forcing you to adopt the Microsoft platform. You understand that this is not new. Even the original NES included a chip to detect whether inserted cartridges were those of official Nintendo-licensed developers or un-licensed third parties, which were locked out.[QUOTE="Brownesque"]That's still nonsense that a company could make a product for their platform and be locked out for no clearly stated reason. Although, to be frank, we know what that reason is. They do not want competition in selling their accessories. What is Datel supposed to do about this? They made an entire product line and put it on the market, and now all their products are obselete. Sorry, it's absurd. If anything it should be the consumers calling for a class action lawsuit in not being able to choose their accessory manufacturer.Brownesque

Interesting notion, but wouldn't Sony have to pay licensing to MS to develop the Xbox 360 portion? If not, then MS could easily disable it with a firmware update like they've done in the past.
Even so, touchpad to display different buttons based on the console? Could you picture yourself mashing a touchpad like you would physical buttons?
Wouldn't disabling it be illegal, against some monopoly laws or something :P I mean, why doesnt MS just lock windows and make everyone who wants to make windows OS software pay a fee so they can allow it to run? Im no expert on monopoly laws and all that jazz, but I think shutting out competition is illegal :PNot here. This isn't an industry monopoly. Microsoft got in trouble with Windows because it's such a ubiquitous platform that it essentially controls the entire PC market. The Xbox has plenty of competitors already and so there isn't much threat (currently) of a monopoly in the industry. Look at the iphone, Apple directly controls what can and cannot be developed for that platform without repercussions.
I had terrible, terrible grades in high school, including a stellar 1.8 GPA in my final quarter. Needless to say, I was not accepted by my Ivy first choice. However, I did ultimately get into a more than solid state school, and I could probably go to a higher level grad school if I so desired.
[QUOTE="RedOktobr"]That guy sounds like a real pee hole. I like that you believed him though.Absolutely. After all, a very smart man with many doctorates once told me that one's self worth is exclusively defined by one's number of diplomas.

Sarcasm can kill. You might want to be careful.
