Now if only we could convince every other idiotic publisher and developer out there that this is the subscriber level you should be striving for. WoW's subscribers are not an indication of a massive growth in the market as a whole, nor are those millions of WoW subscribers up for grabs.

Go for realistic expectations. Don't be another EA who've had three massive failures in the market, one of which will probably be felt by them for years.

Everyone said that Rockstar couldn't outdo jetpacks. They have ever other kind of vehicle that they had to go with friggin' jetpacks to provide something new!Well, then BAM, SUBMARINE!

I was actually shocked when I watched the NRA's statement. I'm for gun rights, but I had never really known anything about the NRA other than that they exist. Their response was embarrassingly bad. I figured the NRA would be a more professional organization than what I saw. Not only did they use incredibly weak arguments, but the speaker was so timid that he came off as unsure of himself. He looked like a nervous, desperate man lashing out at something... anything he could find. Also, he has to be the worst actor I've ever seen. His far too overdramatic sighs of "sadness," such as when he reveals Kindergarten Killer, a flash game that no one has ever heard of from a website that hasn't existed since 2005 and probably was made years prior to that was hilariously unconvincing.

Nevermind the fact that we now know they've never seemed to have anything against video games prior to this. In fact, they've even released officially licensed NRA video games. Obviously, the reason they were so silent since the shooting is because they were heavily watching news outlets, observing what the the most consistent element being blamed, or at least being discussed was and in this case, video games were the most mentioned the most... far, far, FAR behind guns and "assault weapons." That's what they chose to blame to deflect any blame from guns.

Wow, I just wrote a LONG wall of text disagreeing with the review on its comments. I was actually in the process of writing a second comment stating how much I wish Kevin VanOrd would have reviewed the game because I thought it would be right up his alley and one quick google search of his name and NS2 led me here.

@Zbih That entirely depends on what kind of puzzles we're talking about here.

Wait, no plans for a Torchlight MMO? I had assumed that Runic had been working on their MMO since before Torchlight 1 was even announced. I thought Torchlight 1 was a smaller game meant primarily to build up hype and educate consumers about the upcoming MMO and Torchlight 2 was mainly a for-fans sequel that filled the same role, but also was more of a proper game.

I haven't exactly followed their web site community or anything, but that's surprising news to me. To be honest, I'd much, MUCH prefer Runic to continue making traditional releases like TL1&2. I'm pretty much burned out on MMOs and I'm sick of F2P games with their micro-transactions.

This is great news for me, but also kind of shocking news. I would make an isometric Diablo shooter! Like Alien Swarm/Shooter only with loot!

The best thing about 1.6 is how different every gun is. In Source, they improved some underpowered weapons, but they also made a lot of the weapons pretty much spray-friendly. It completely ruins GunGame for Source because you may as well just be using the same gun the entire time until you move to shotguns or sniper rifles.
