@Xristophoros: Exactly. The PC version isnt event like a lazy port job either going off the Beta. Given you got the proper hardware, its the definitive version.
@camou504: Street Fighter 5 genuinely is more accessible. Its a lot easier to pull off special moves and do combo's than its immediate predecessor. Gameplay itself is not lacking depth, but its just not artificial depth.
This is fairly old news at this point. Pretty sure they said they were doing this about a month after its announcement.
Thankfully the only things they seem to be doing is making special move inputs and combo's easier to pull off, seeing as those are honestly just artificial difficulty barriers. The gameplay itself did not feel 'dumbed down' from what I experienced with my time in the beta.
I'm not convinced there wont be 'New Versions', but i'm pretty sure they'd just be all the DLC up to that point. You gotta do something to appeal to the new people once the game becomes too daunting looking to newcomers.
