This makes sense it was ported to the original Xbox so a new HD Port seems feasible. The PS2 original had terrible scan line issues. A $20 dollar price tag is perfect. I'm sure it'll sell great. Thanks Capcom!
UPDATE: Changing the score seems like a bad idea. I really liked some of those tracks. I hope PC gamers can swap out some audio files and restore the original music.
@bigbox: I agree on TLOU. That game is so depressing and morose it's barely fun to play. Being a Naughty Dog game the gameplay is super accessible and the graphics mostly outstanding (ignoring the bugs and pop-in) but the overall tone of the game is unsatisfying. Uncharted 1 and 2 are the devs best work to date IMO.
This really sheds light on why I'm not interested. The environments look loaded with fog and what is viewable looks so bland it could be mistaken for procedurally generated. Also the combat looks slow and underwhelming compared to previous games. There's pros to that for aging gamers but it seems Krato's best years are behind him.
On a high note Doom 2016 and MGSV (despite lackluster story) have been the best experiences this generation. All the other sequels/updates have felt flawed compared to their predecessors.
@soliaired50: Word UP! I wish Nintendo had launched the switch without it and given BotW another 6 months of dev time to create better dungeons, tighten the over-world design, and improve the weapon breaking/management problems. They could have added a lot more music as well. I used think Majora's Mask was the weakest entry, BotW easily overtook it.
@bigbox: That's really subjective. For some it's F:NV or others F3. Most fans however wouldn't say F4. The quests and side quests are nowhere near as good in F4. Also the level design is missing something. I really liked how the subways were connected in F3 and the only way into DC was via the subway. The realism that created felt more real than anything on offer in F4.
@Chizaqui: I agree. The first had a really strong Adventure vibe. Working your way to the surface of Black Mesa and escaping the horrors of what went wrong. The level design was so good Valve could remaster it using most of its design and young gamers wouldn't be able to tell it was 20 years old.
@jski: I'm not interested in online multiplayer competitive or cooperative games. I don't like getting pwned by hackers or getting rushed through a game playing experience. I like to stop and marvel at the graphics and experience the game at my own pace not somebody else's. I just want a great single player experience. IMHO online is best suited for arcade style games.
