Howdy folks, I haven't been on much lately. The major reason for that is how addicted I am to firefighting, as you can probably tell by the new banner,personal pic, icon, blog pic, and signature(our academy t-shirt design). The academy has been going great and I've been riding a lot at my dad's station. I'vereallybeen studying a ton, but its nice to study something that is this interesting, and the physical training has been pretty tough, but I love that too.Also another one of my cousins is probably going to get hired soon, which was unexpected, making him the12th person in my family who has, is, or is training to be a firefighter.... its pretty much a family tradition. And as if training to be a firefighter-paramedic hasn't been keeping me busy enough Oh yeah and my 19th birthday is in 8 days so I guess thats pretty cool. Well thats pretty much it, I hope you all have been doing all right...

*Well, I start school at the fire academy on the 23rd and I've got a pretty nice schedule. I have school Monday through Thursday and class from 12:30 to 4:30.

*I finally changed my shotgun icon and have now totally bleached out my profile.

*This summer was a very good summer for fishing. The following are just some of the fish I caught this summer.

First off, a very nice cuda that I caught in the keys. (released)

I didn't catch too many sharks this summer, but this8 and a half foot nurse shark put up a pretty good fight. (released)

We caught a ton of snapper; this was just one of many trips.

I caught this tarpon at 2:30 in the morning fishing off of my uncle's dock, that's why the picture is so bad I had to use the self timer to take it. (released)

Well I just got back from a one week vacation in the Florida Keys and while we were there I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life. We were about 6 miles out snapper fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, but the water was only 8 feet deep. While we were anchored up, we saw a weird tail slowly moving back in forth and we decided to pull anchor and find out what it was. Well we caught up to it and it turned out to be an 18-20 ft. whale shark. While I was busy taking as many pictures as possible, I spotted a decent cobia following the shark and my dad threw a pinfish out and was able to catch the cobia. It was only 30 in. long so we had to release it, but it was cool just to have been able to catch it. We ended up following the shark a little more and then decided to let it go on its way. I have been fishing Florida my entire life and have never had such an incredible experience on the water. :D

Well, this is the first time I've logged on in over a month. So I hope you all are doing fine and hopefully I'll be getting on a little more. Some updates in my life are that I graduate from highschool in less than 30 school days and Spring break starts in 2 days!! I also got acceptted to the college that I wanted to get into, I'm still waiting to see if I get into their firefighting academy, I should find out some time next month. I also just got my first car, a jeep, a few days ago and I love it!! :D

Since I got back from North Carolina I haven't been on much at all. I was pretty busy with a lot of stuff homework, college, scholarships, driver's license and just some other random stuff. Well, things are sort of calming down so I should be on a lot more. Yeah I know you all thought you had finally gotten rid of me, well sorry but its not going to be that easy. :P

Oh yeah, I also finally created a myspace account, so if you want to add me just send me a friend request.

Yep, I've got a lot of family up in N.C.and we go up there two times a year. We will probably be leaving early tomorrow morning and we are planning on coming back January 2nd. We usually go on a lot of hikes in the mountains and then just hang out, so its pretty fun. I might be able to get on here a few times, but I definitely won't be on much for the next week, so...

Well, this one web site that my dad goes to has a get together in different parts of Florida each month and today was the first one we went to. We all took our boats (a total of 7) and went down to the Everglades. It was pretty awesome seeing all 7 boats racing through the marsh together, before today the largest group of boats I'd been in was 3. The area we went to was absolutely beautiful, but I didn't get many pictures, my camera was low on batteries from the start, but I might eventually post some much better pics that the other guys took. Here are some of the ones I did take:

This house was right in the middle of the swamp, the only way to get there is by an airboat or a helicopter. You have to love the driveway. :lol:

Well, before the finale I would have never even thought about doing this. But after watching the finale, which I loved, I'm really starting to like Azula's character a lot more. Personally, I thought everything she did in the finale was awesome; from getting the Dai Lee to support her, getting Zuko to side with her, and nailing Aang in the back while he was in the Avatar State. (sorry Aang fan girls, but I thought that was pretty crazy). And of course she had the best line.. "Don't flatter yourself, you were never even a player" :lol: .Well, even if I do change icons, I'm not sure if it will be permanent... so what do y'all think?

Well, I went out the other day and spent the last of my birthday money on a new camera. It isn't to fancy, but it is a huge upgrade from my last one. Here is what it looks like. I actually bought it at a convenient time, I have to do this weird report for my speech class (public speaking class) and one part of it had me take pictures of some stuff in my house... so I thought I'd post them here. :D

Did I ever tell you that my brother and I buy a lot of  videogames!(yeah those are all different games we have bought, except for Finding Nemo. ;) )
