starcraft 2 has it's own unique look. and anyway, it's in the early stages of code from what the report said. chances are we didn't get to see alot of what the new engine has to offer. it looks cartoony, yes, but that's how all of blizzard's games have become to look like, but with starcraft 2, there's an edgyness... a hardcore sort of feeling to it. it may look cartoony, but the battles and the gore will still be there, judging from the screens of marines being mutilated into puffs of blood and gibs. it's still retaining it's style and atmosphere that it held when it first came out, but now it looks a helluva lot more prettier. i think blizzard made a good decision in keeping with their original art direction but evolve it. it looks kick ass.

i thought they were planning it to be a PC exclusive title!? then i read the news about it being "revealed" on TV @ april 28th on ESPN and it said the devs were planning it to be for xbox 360 and ps3?!?! what the hell?! did they change their mind or something?! this is ridiculous. it originated on PC, it should STAY on PC, no matter how acccessible multiplayer may be for some consoles. hell, the ps3's multiplayer thing doesn't even work or isn't even up yet or something horrible is wrong with it? i dont know, all i know is that xbox's multiplayer fanbase is large, but PCs multiplayer fanbase is even bigger, considering how far back PC gaming has gone and grew from that. what the hell are they thinking? let alone, xbox and ps owners are bragging about how they dont need to spend 2000+ dollars on their "system" when now the only fair and good way to play a console game is if you can afford the expensive digi cables, and oh, let's not forget the brand spankin' new 30 inch plasma tv with 1028 dpiispo-whatevers.
