Very good game, although I don't know if we'll ever see that certain Rare charm infused into a new Banjo game.

they said most valuable active stock. not mst active stock.Ontain

I wasn't referring to the article itself, but to the title of this poster, which was not reflective of the content.

A little misleading on the title. Stock activity != most valuable.

For that, you can visit www.forbes.com, click on lists, and then largest public companies. You'll see Nintendo is actually quite far down.

When is it, and how can I aquire Tickets/Boothspace?

lafigueroa

April 4/5, 2009. It may seem faraway, but not really when you consider we're starting this from scratch. I'll be sure to put up a post when we get our initial 'teaser' website with a subscription option up to provide more information as it becomes available. We'llbe having a pre-reg form on said website, and any boothspace, advertising, sponsporship, etc, etc, will most likely be through contacting me or another member of the committee (if we get an uber Ad/PR Manager that takes this portfolio on). A lot is riding on our talks with *cough*iowarebay*cough* which has me nervous as hell.

I liked Mercs one. Good game.sonicare

I agree. Reminded me a lot of the old Jungle/Desert/Urban/whatever Strike games on the Genesis and SNES.

Well I guess M$ saw watsony didand got an idea, to purchase every great IP for this gen, with billy gate big wad of cash, he hides under his matress.amorbis1001

Microsoft does indeed have a very different strategy in that regard, but it made sense for what they were trying to accomplish. As new comers to the game back in 2001, the only way which the Xbox could have gotten a foot in the door was through the purchasing of key developers with IP that would target the demograph Microsoft was after.

Sony, on the other hand, had nothing to lose. With the PS2 numbers, developers could easily publish on that console alone and still have a massive installed user base to sell product to. Now, of course, that situation has greatly changed, and even the whole idea of exclusivity outside of 1st and direct 2nd party titles is falling out of favour. Why, as a 3rd party developer, target only a third of the market place when you could easily get it all?

I'm still on the fence in terms of actually making the purchase. I'm waiting for Mass Effect.

If history has shown anything, it's that exclusivity agreements can be readily flushed down the toilet whenever the developer feels like it.
