Here is how the rumor was started,

Conversation:
Me: Hey, do you have the Premiums with the hdmi?
GT: Those are called the elites. They are right there.
ME: No, I mean the premiums, *points*, with hdmi.
GT: They're not making them yet till like later.
ME: They're making them now, I've seen pictures of them online.
GT: No, they're not. You got it wrong.
ME: Nowai.
GT: Let me explain, they're making the elites into premiums, and dropping the core.
ME: WHAA..
GT: Microsoft told me they're making the elites into premiums, and later they're releasing xbox ultimate.
ME: WTF is that?
GT: It's the xbox 360 that has a hdmi, and a HD-DVD drive to compete with blu-ray.
ME: Are they putting HD-DVD games on it?
GT: Yeah, Microsoft is competing against Blu-ray.
ME: Orly, what about the 9 million people that bought 360 last year. They're f****! lol
GT: No, they're fine.
ME: The 360 can't play HD-DVD right now.
GT: Well it could, sort of. The xbox ultimate and the HD-DVD drive just makes it more HD.

GT: Blu-ray or HD-DVD, too early to tell.
ME: Not that one. The other one.
GT: Uh, 360 man.
ME: The Wii is kicking it's ass right now.
GT: Well, you see, the wii is in another market by itself on the side.
ME: It's new-gen.
GT: Yeah.

Wii is equivalent to a Xbox if not weaker. HD DVD built in 360 is retarded and stupid. Will not happen, until the next gen. Blu-ray has forced itself into the market by introducing many free offers that would benefit producers and other people who would probably need it for selling movies and things. HD DVD is still a winner in my heart, it was good, and still is good. Sadly HD DVD is just a danm DVD it doesnt make anything more HD. Other than storing more information so you can have more space to work on games. Same goes for blu-ray.

I return my 360s for fun! Really my first lasted me about a year and a half, but just because I feel like it, I return my console every month, because I got warrenty, and I can.

Almost forgot, when you snipe in a game, it is almost too easy. For the sake of your dignity, stop being a **** and get out and shoot. The way most developers design maps is that no matter how hard you try, the sniper rifle kills in 1 shot. Making it a horribly unbalanced weapon. It has no recoil, easy shooting, unavoidable as since most levels just have one path and no underground or anything to avoid being in the open long enough to be shot. Sniper rifles in a game is the most disgusting weapon made. Few games have done it right, most have made them camping weapons that are too godly. A sniper is suppost to shoot and move, shoot and move. In games Snipers can sit in a spot for the whole game, you can't touch them once their in the perfect whoring spot. Thus Sniper rifles get bad rep when the person using them only uses the sniper rifle the whole game and whores it up. Knowingly that it is an abusive weapon. Sure it takes some skill to shoot, it takes more skill to find glitches and camping spots, and even more skill to get the person out of that spot. It is a very unbalanced weapon.

*sigh* P is for progressive pixels in which your TV screen will put out the picture faster, while Interlaced goes slower to make games look smoother so you don't notice lag jumps in a game. Sadly P is better for gameplay or else with an I you kinda have to get used to the slightly slower framerate you can just feel, but not notice. TVs make the differance. I and P don't make games look better, one is just faster. 1080ip makes an image larger, not quality better. 720p is better since that is what most 360 games support. with 1080ip settings it will just randomly stretch the image because a 720p game wasn't ment for 1080ip. So it may jump around a bit if you take time to notice, it is stretching the image, not increasing graphics at all. Though the larger the image, the more you notice the details and depth of the game in HD than you would if you looked at a small TV in 720p. SO 1080ip is better if the game supports it, 720p is really all the matters and you get the same results if not better.

sigh*, you think this stuff happens instantly? Its not like, OMG STARBUCKS IS HANDING OUT FREE COFFEE! LETS GIVE OUR CUSTOMERS CASH! It never happens like that. It will probably happen near the end of this year or somewhere along 08. Even then I find no problem, I have 360, if nessessary I can buy another one, infact I should have chosen to own two 360s when my mother asked if I wanted the elite :p Other than that its all good, store warrenty, and preordered every game under the sun.

Some consoles are faulty, they freeze for no reason, other cases is like your computer has too many operations going on, you press **** to fix. THE 360 sadly doesn't have it that easy to fix, you just turn it on and off :p So either its over heating, the game could be messed up, your multi tasking music, chat, game, and other things like downloading content at once, or your console is faulty. Then again, my console freezes when host disconnects from a game or something, so if it freezes in a multiplayer match, the chance is everyone experienced it and it is normal :P

na its ok, and thats what I've read so far, I'm not sure if they will keep it around for that long, it is just that he said it is possible.
