weren't they having so many consoles shipped for repairs that they were so backed up it they are having problems keeping up. They should just hand you guys new consoles, recycle the old ones. I trust my store warrenty more than my microsoft warrenty. SO now that you know they will only give you excuses until they fix 1 in a thousand consoles. You'll be delayed.
The N64 and the Xbox have a lot in common. They were both better system then their main competitor, had a large library of superb games and they were both overshadowed by the popularity of their main competitor.
How the PS won over the N64 in the console war, I will never know. I had both and I just remember having so much more fun with my N64. And the DreamCast definitely shouldn't have been overshadowed by the PS2. There is no good reason why it should of died out.

DreamCast was way to ahead of its time, alot of people weren't ready for it, it for some reason just never sold like it should have. Like some people look for graphics, games, or atleast something they trust since it has quality, and for some reason people didn't look for that. Or atleast not then. I didn't like the controller though :( Also how the PS won over Nintendo was because Nintendo looked for the younger age audience. Playstation started going for everyone, still had those games everyone loved also, japanese developers think of crazy stuff. It still sells. Though I think you mixed me up on some stuff. Wasn't sega around with the Play Station not PS2?
Ok, you go to silver, it will offer you a 1 month gold subscription. It will say, "Are you sure you don't want gold?" (Y/N) Say NO. It will then give you 1 month. If you are just silver and try to go online it won't let you. However you being blocked is odd, though in parental options, sometimes things get changed, depending on age set and other things. If your age is below 18 or 21, it blocks things that you'll thus need to go into your options to set everything to allowed.
... lol my god you people don't even read the things on your dash board do you? They have it posted around in giant squares saying, "Check out July 10th for downloadable E3 videos." Yes they are doing it, with "bringing it home." It will be featuring the videos on the games, trailers, demos, and other things. They will also have conferences and other things, basically like watching G4's E3. Your going to be in the front row seat in watching everything they had to show.
Edit: Something is in there for all of you, I kinda of answered things at random, but I'm sure you'll get something. I've been reading alot of people's comments/replies who seriously like to think that by guessing off the top of their head they know for sure that the 360 will not have a price drop or will probably drop and Microsoft will give up on gaming. Let me fill you in, I try to keep up to date on things, I research and read on things constantly on all consoles and whats going on in this next generation war, I try not to be biased, and if you think I am... I really can't stop you can I? As we all know the PS3 isn't really gaining Sony money, infact every time it sells, they actualy lose profit. With the PS2 and PSP selling is what makes that up however. Microsoft makes $75 off every console sold, from what I've gathered, and also by using their web browser (IE) they make a dollar everytime you go online. (Felt like throwing it in there for all of you who really think Microsoft can't make money) On an interview with one of microsoft's executives working with the 360, he talked about how they were prepared for price cuts to keep the 360 going for 10 years or more. Though they lost a billion it doesn't mean they will stop. Infact this was the most successful thing they've done, next to the zune. They don't plan on dropping the 360 like the xbox was dropped. A side note about the Xbox, it is said to have been equally if not more powerful than the Wii... So for most of you non-friendly Wii owners who bash others and ask rudely on why it isn't considered next gen, that is your answer. Since the PS3 is turning out to be doing horribly, it depends how determined Sony is. If there was anything to be said, it is turning out how the Xbox went. As I think all consoles are great since everyone has differant tastes, I'm just telling you whats going on from what I know. I am frustrated by how fanboyism works. Xbox was hated for being fat, expensive, and to top it off, high end quality product. IT WAS BULLET PROOF FOR CHRIST SAKE! Though the PS3 isn't bullet proof, it still is a high quality, expensive, large product (Larger than the Xbox). Yet the same people who bashed the xbox still got a system they resented. Now that was completely off topic. In truth, the PS3 was probably a better choice, though like the PS2, games make the differance. As since the 360 was here longer, it has more games, thus it is just selling like the PS2. Since I felt like I might have been a bit cruel to the Sony side of things. I would like to explain why the Xbox360 was breaking down, having issues, and crappy warrenty. The main goal of Microsoft was to reach 12 million consoles shipped. As for that they required stores to run through on consoles, since if stores are stocked they won't take anymore shipments. Though as we now know it, their goal is over and off by 400k. Now they are atempting to fix the products issues. (This kind of went down like the PS2) Like history repeating itself, your consoles, thoughts, and choices are yours. I don't think I was flaming, or doing anything wrong, kinda felt like answering many peoples posts in one giant reply. I also expect like all of you to probably not bother reading anything, leave a retarded reply in response to what seemed like hate towards consoles, or just not leave a comment at all.
*sigh* People the core is not the better deal, with what you get out of premium if you buy separately, will cost you another $100. So by buying the core, you will need all the stuff the premium comes with, if you want to enjoy everything.
When you think about it, what developer has really tried to make motion sensing work with a game? NONE! If the 360 had it, it would be tacked on. Infact most games it would probably be: Shake controller to throw grenade, Charge attack, T-Bag (Ultimate purpose). It just really has no reason. In most games for the Wii they use it partially, they don't try to make it really good. I would like a gladiator simulator where you have differant weapons so a spear uses differant motions over a sword. Make it online with 4 on 4, customize character with armor, weapons, shields, etc. Slap on some arenas and death traps, maybe chariot races also with a back buddy with a bow and arrow. A game like that would rule, do you see developers putting any game on the list that violent? NO, Wii won't allow many if any of anything other than E rated games. If you shoot someone, it has to be strawberry jam, not blood. PS3 has that tacked on. Though for flying I guess its ok, I don't see much use in six axis. I just don't see any purpose of adding realism in anything, but flying. Driving? No, we got X or something to press to drift and stuff. Ridge Racer's unrealistic controls would work with it though. I think buttons are fine. I wish they kept the white and black buttons, they could be used in most games instead of a D-Pad just wasted for 2 commands.
I've been thinking whether it is worth buying Overlord and alot of people are saying that it is alot like Fable, which IMO was one of the best games i've ever played. Out of the two which one is better?mattisgod01
look, I have no clue how you can compare the two. PICMIN = OVERLORD! Its awesome. Just more violent. FABLE HAS NO EQUIVELANT! JUST BUY YOUR DAMN FABLE 2, ITS BETTTTORR!!
