[QUOTE="proteKYFM"]Graphics were alright, a little less than I expected. Kind of in between Halo 2 and what I thought would've been Halo 3. Gameplay looks awesome though and that's what the Halo franchise is all about.helium_flash
I thought that the environments in each map were pretty bland (i almost watched the entire marathon). I with GS would have told us if they thought the maps were balanced or not.
And the gameplay seemed repetitive
Yeah, I told the dude with the laptop I want his babies :p Looking at the levels the problem with halo2 was that the maps weren't balanced, people could snipe you and there was no cover, no place to go to get from point A to point B without being sniped. Really the game was all about whoring it up with the sniper rifle. All I expect is to make it so a douche can't sit on one side of the level and shoot everyone with the only sniper rifle on the level and there is no way to get to him. Come on 1 to 2 shots to kill someone in rapid succession fire and no recoil, its a noob gun. "I work for Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo Co. I also am a game developer and have extensive experience on each console. I KNOW what I'm talking about." Claims require proof my friend ;Dif there is a microplay near u they wil fix for 5 $ CAN and gold is for online , i bet u knocked over xbox 360 and the reader scrached it happend to my carbon and call of duty 3pooladdenLIke this guy said, stuff like that happens you won't get any severe scratches unless somehow even if the console itself is vibrating, your disk will get scratched :p The vibrations from opening a garage can do minor damage, I have an outlining ring around the inner circle, doesn't effect the game, but it looks cool :D
i would love to know what the % is on returned consoles is now.. I know it ain't no 3 to 5%.. Thats a bunch of crap.. Everyone I know that owns one is on they're second or third console now..Recon13I had my console for what? 2 and a half years, it finally broke thanks to the intercooler... And I'm happy it broke now I can go buy the elite :p The console breaks down due to the heat it produces and the other part is the fact that most of it is even over clocked, so of course it might be faulty out of the box, over clocked things do that :p So my video card failed me in my console, it works fine just doesn't display an image anymore giving me the 3 red lights.
[QUOTE="Alidude3"]Go to a video shop rent the game out swap it with their copy lol. It does work.gellis1981
Yeah, if you want to be a thief...stealing isn't the answer. Here's your answer....man up and send in your copy with $20 to xbox...and for god sakes don't move your xbox while the disc is spinning and make sure the xbox is horizontal while playing and not vertical!!
Eh, I do that, most places like block buster and others have a commercial disk cleaner/repair thing :p Usualy why it looks brand new most of the time. If you swap yours in with theirs (Make sure it has no stickers or something that they can see if it it theirs) they will just repair it to a working state so the scratches wouldn't be so severe.Really I would start proving comments like this wrong, but whats the point we have too many idiots for one man to cure :p Anyways MICROSOFT the people who DONATE billions around the world, DOESN'T MANUFACTURE THE DVD PLAYER! It is ordered and made by the company who produces them, then microsoft's job is just to put the part together. It's simple :p Mine doesn't get scratched, infact the only way you get some serious scratches is if you shake the thing or you have the old model. The newer 360s really don't have that problem. But why waste my time explaining stuff to people who really won't read this :p I'll just leave people be and laugh at their retarded posts :lol:mine did the same thing omG!!! cept mine has 4 rings around it and still works (i have no idea how if you see the scratches), just buy gears at walmart switch the discs and take it back.
anyways the reason the 360 scratches discs is because it doesnt have 4 pads around the lens that reads the discs. The kind of dvd player the 360 uses is supposed to cuz if you buy an actual dvd player by that brand it has 4 plastic pads around the lens to prevent scratches. M$ is just too cheap to spend an extra 1$ a console for them.

Na, why should you have a HD-DVD player, think about it, xboxlive lets you rent in HD. Much cheaper than going to block buster :pI just bought a used Xbox recently. Signed up for Xbox Live and I've been having a blast. Lot's of people still playing Halo 2, Crimson skies, Star Wars Battlefront, Tetris, Mech Assault, Unreal, etc. -But not so much on some other games I've bought cheap or rented. (Racing games like Rallisport 2, Powerdrome, Project Gothem 2 or other games Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Godzilla, Poker, etc.)
I'd like to get a 360 but I'm gonna wait until they integrate the HD-DVD player (which may be never) or until I can get a 360 used for what I just paid for my orignial Xbox ($100 @ gamecrazy) I've bought too many old games that are not backward compatible to get rid of it when I do get a 360 anyway.
But my cheap ass is seriously thinking of buying a Nintendo Wii at full price even. Especially since it's fully backward compatible with the old gamecube games and if they keep expanding their virtual console downloads (waiting for an updated/online Pod racer and the original Turok)
