People do "need" a form of entertainment to turn to during difficult times, and video games are always a valid option. It has been reported that people do spend a larger portion of their money on entertainment during economic downturns, and I do not doubt that.

However, people ought to have their priorities straight.

Debt-free gaming is best gaming.
