Alas my friends, the end is near!

I have just finished my AS level exams (I don't know what they are equivalent to across the pond - I'm 17) and as a result I have had the week off school, I have also had the added bonus of my family being away.

My days have consisted of waking up about midday, walking around my house in nothing but a pair of boxer shorts watching T.V., playing games and using the net (nothing too strenuous), going out in the evenings and final falling asleep about 3ish.

All this is about to change with the return of my family tomorrow so I will have to return to social hours (or anti-social depending on your opinion) and wear clothes.

How cruel it is to have heaven given to you only to have it ripped from your grasp a few short days later.

Level 7!

I know it is not verry high but it is odd as yesterday I was on level 5 at 88% and it is not possible for me to have jumped a level altogether, is it? I have been searching for people of level 6 but I have not yet found any, maybe it doesn't exist.

My conniseur badge has dissappeared again but I'm sure it will be back before long.

It is already thursday, meaning that it is even less time untill monday comes, damn it.

My first union

I have finaly found a union that I have actuly wanted to join, The Whatever The Hell We Want It To Be union, we started today and it is a lot more laid back and less focused than other unions.

On another note, nobody has sent me or left me a note recently this makes me wander if I have passed away without realizing and everyone thinks I'm dead.

Oh, and if you get the feeling sombody is outside your window watching you, don't worry it's only me!

2 Months of Me!

I am celebrating the fact that it is 2 months since I first logged on and in that time I have;

  1. Written one review
  2. Gained four badges
  3. Raised five levels
  4. Made six friends
  5. Posted ten blogs
  6. Contributed one hundred times to forums
  7. Logged one hundred and twenty games

All this and I am still not bored of the system ( I usualy have a very short attention span when it comes to things like this).

I'm Back!

After two weeks of revision and exams (they went rather well, thanks for asking) I have finaly got my games out and started hardcore videogaming again - my last exam only finished 6 hours ago and I have already logged 4 hours on the game clock of Deus Ex (I had forgotten what a great game it is).

I have now got a week off and I plan to spend it watching TV, playing games and I have a couple of reviews I have been planning on writing for a while so keep an eye out.

Remember, I still love you even if you read this without leaving me a tiny little message that would only take you a second to write and bring me a great amount of joy!

Revision

So as planned, I sat down today to get to some serious revision and as I am unable to play video games (see an earlier post) I thought it would go pretty well.    Alas, my plans failed an I spent the day watching TV and DVDs.

I have absolutely no will power and I must get down to some revision, any tips?

I have also got to write a review/tribute to the game 'Cannon Fodder' that I was surprised so few gamespot users own, so you can expect that in the next few days.

No Games for me.

It is that time of year again, exams, and as I'm planning on applying to Oxford University later this year they are exams that I really have to do well in and to do well I will have to revise.   The problem is that I have no willpower whatsoever and every time I sit down to do some serious revision I end up playing 8 hours of video games.   To help me keep on at it this year I have told my family to keep (and hide) my memory cards and some cables.

This will answer the question; What is harder, a week of exams or two weeks without games?

Attitudes in Gamespot

I can't help but say I am disappointed in the GameSpot community showing, in quite large numbers, its ignorance, pedjudices and generally out dated attitudes, how disappointing.

So it turns out that a gay magazine has named Link from the 'Legend of Zelda' series as the Hottest Video Game Character and what was  the response of a number of GameSpot users? not just to mock the idea of him being gay (which in all likely-hood he isn't, considering his ongoing entanglement with the princess Zelda) but to mock and chastise the entire gay community.

On a lighter note it was nice, almost amusing, to see how many people jumped to the aid of the gay community by arguing with one of the childish responses (almost out numbering those actualy making the childish comments!).

if you have not seen the article yet you may use this link, Gay mag "Hot" for Link

I apologise for this little rant, I am sure a more light hearted service will return tomorrow!

lots of love, me.

Badges

Excellent! I just got the Tagger dabbler badge! and made level 4!(I know that isn't high but it is not bad for a newbie like me).

but unfortunatly my other  badges have dissapeared again, maybe they will re-appear at somepoint like they did yesterday.(EDIT- looks like they came back, I guess that the badges get updated at different times to each other).

If any one wants to congratulate me or just throw some random abuse, feel free to do so!

Lots of love, me.

2nd blog of the day!

Why are you writing a second blog today I hear you cry? Well I shall answer, I am happy!

Yay for me!

Why am I happy? 3 reaons:

  • -Because I have just finished my first review (it's a lengthy one so read at your own peril) .
  • -I have got my two badges back (they ran away earlier)
  • -I finaly have a friend so I now know that I am not just writing  these things to myself, thanks FronzenShock987!

If any one else wants me to be happy, give me some feed back! It doesn't even need to be positive, I know your nice deep down.

Lots of love,me.
