The maps are better imo.
Performance is just fine, it's simply a more demanding game.
The only legit complaint is how its been so unstable and that can be attributed to EA rushing it out before CoD coming out. But the game seems to run fine for the vast majority of people. And the 50$ premium thing, it's a season pass, you don't have to buy it. So no, the game isn't 110$.

all the pro BF3 players are calling BF4 crap as well, I didn't even look up what they thought about after I played the game for an hour until my friend linked me
also it's not more demanding, it looks exactly the same. In BF3 on noshahr canals at 1280x960 I got 200fps while recording in msi afterburner
In BF4 my fps jutters all over the place and is-unplayable-.

look how bad those fps are, and that was with Shadowplay which doesn't even hurt my fps. Look how terrible that map design is too, literally every map is like that.
I get the exact same fps at 640x480 or 1920x1080... loel
