Yeah,it sure is messy, but that´s why further investigation is needed, especially in regards to a person that painted herself as a victim to gain popularity and pity from her "followers". If she lied, this is a bigger deal than you think(both from a PR standpoint and legally),and it most certainly needs to be investigated, since apparently the gaming media isn´t interested in doing their job.
I think it's useless to do any investigation now since it may just make this whole thing worse especially if the accusations are true. At the same time an in depth investigation may actually stop this mess, but it may be a bit risky to do one right now. There has to be a way to stop this mess.I just hope it stops before the police or someone else gets involved.
There was CP involved. Hopefully the FBI are monitoring this mess and arrests are going to be made.
@SambaLele: The reporter @Nero on twitter will not only be making a report about it he will be contacting the FBI tomorrow to obtain a freedom of information request so it's all nice and out in the open.
I'd wait for their response to pass judgement on what to think of this. These are serious allegations.
But it's bullshit. Watch the video I posted. See her tweets. Police very much has a procedure of how to deal with online threats
@Revan_911: Does that reporter have evidence of this? Or he'll be doing the same thing she's alledgedly doing. It's time allegations concerning that issue were provided with proof if they'll be publicised, like people are already doing with the financial ties between journos and devs.
Dont know if this is evidence. And Milo had a screenshot of an email from the police. It can be faked but I doubt he would risk his career over an article about gaming with lies. Lying about emails from the police can get you jail time.
He may be deeply conservative. But he's still a real journalist.
