What is your problem? The game on PC is actually better, what are you complaining about? Nvidia is being proactive, that's hardly their fault.

So you are saying that the GeForce 4xx series shouldn't offer anything better compared to the last versions? If so, I bet you would be in the hardware forums complaining that the new series of cards are nothing better.

These days people complain about everything. As for PhyX, that's Nvidia's product, so too bad your ATI card isn't supporting it. Besides, I've told by many people that Batman AA looked and played very well on ATi cards. Again, its not Nvidia's fault that they are taking the initiative.

I am not being an unfair supporter of Nvidia. If ATI were to do this, I seriously wouldn't fault them for it.

Actually I have a GTX 260 card. The thing is i am pissed, Nvidia has no clue. If i buy a GTX 480 i don't want just realistic water on a console port from a mediocre game. Because that's all there is to the PC version. The entire video they talk about water and show gameplay videos of water. It's pretty lame. I don't want all that power wasted on a unoptimized console port. Same with Arkham Asylum. They are trying to sell cards by adding unimpressive features and they say you can only run it with 500$ Nvidia card. This is not taking an initiative.

Every engineer, MBA graduate in Nvidia has no clue, but you do, right?

What game isn't a console port? We don't have an exclusive called Crysis anymore; the next STALKER won't be out till god knows when and even when it does come out, we don't know that it will be a PC exlusive. So...what should Nvidia do? Not support console ports anymore?

The thing is, at least they are doing something about it.

You don't know what Just Cause 2 is going to be like, you don't know what 480 is going to perform like.

So sit tight and wait for the fact to come out and then complain.

Most games aren't console ports...PC has way more developers than consoles. Not high budget developers but still. Why doesn't Nvidia fund and support PC developers? Instead of Just Cause 2, which i can spot a mile away it's a console game and no PC gamer would ever touch it.

The PS3 and especially the 360 are full with kids and casuals. Halo, MW2, Sport games, those are not hardcore games...

http://kotaku.com/5484795/just-cause-2-pc-loves-on-nvidia Square Enix London Studios dropped us this video to show off how pretty Just Cause 2 can be when running on a PC equipped with NVIDIA's latest graphics hardware. I'm not all that familiar with NVIDIA's CUDA technology, and Bokeh lens techniques mean absolutely nothing to me, but I do know a very pretty game when I see one. NVIDIA and developer Avalanche worked together to incorporate advanced technology into Just Cause 2, and the end result of their collaboration is quite lovely. "Just Cause 2 is one of the most visually advanced PC titles ever created," said Lee Singleton, General Manager of Square Enix London Studios. "Working closely with NVIDIA has enabled us to add support for some of the latest PC technologies and help make Just Cause 2 one unforgettable experience." And now I am torn. On one hand, the PC version of Just Cause 2 looks amazing. On the other hand, I really enjoy my couch. Decisions, decisions. Sorry if it's been posted. So what do you think? When they mean latest Nvidia hardware do they mean the GTX 4XX series? If that's so then Nvidia sucks! This is Batman AA all over again. You actually need a GTX 260 and 9800GT on Physx just to see Batmans cape swinging around. It's ridiculous. Now you need a GTX 480 to have realistic water in a lame console port. Why don't they fund, you know a PC game that will really push PC's to the limits, not this....

I do think its good they are going after their brand, because they own some of the rights to the call of duty brand

Good joke there

How much did halo 2 PC sell again?

well, the problem with halo2 was that it was 3 years too late.

It required Windows Vista, which pretty much no one had. It received mediocre score, and GFWL wasn't free back then. LOL
