Also a lot of these tough choices will more then likely have a effect on Mass Effect 3

ME1- Find out about the threat

ME2-Build up your army for the epic battle

ME3-Time for army to go to war

How did you treat Legion and the quarians all around. Both could be dead from their own war. Never activatied Legion or did his loyalty then no geth help and yes the geth are just as anti reaper as Shep is. So that is 2 groups that could be effected for ME2

Did you kill Wrex in ME1-No Krogan help and in ME2 did you help progress the cure of the genopage? I am sure the krogans would be happy if you did.

How did you treat Cerberus at the end?

Did you help Liara? She could die either way really so did you choose the right one?

Rachni- Did you kill or save in ME1? You find out they were controled just like what Soverign did in ME1. Another ally maybe

There are many ways your choices could effect ME3.

You are making wild assumptions.

How was the choices in this game any less then the choices in KOTOR? Oh it didn't have radically different and predictable endings? Your either Skeletor or the savior of the galaxy.. People are being far to critical on this and not looking back that rpgs in general can only do so much in creating real change while trying to keep a active narrative.

No one is saying that KOTOR was any better in that manner., but at least there were neutral choices, and way more ways to approach a situiation instead of good or bad. ME 2 fans are saying something like the decision system is deep and its not good vs bad, while that's exactly what it is .

We have see no freaken gameplay of Crysis 2. You just say that because it is on the consoles as well.

FYI, Crysis was linear as hell. It might as well have been a corridor shooter. To top it all off, it wasn't that good when it was all said and done.

Im_single

If you weren't a mod i would say you are trolling. It was rated 9.5 at gamespot?Do you say that it wasn't good and that i shouldn't trust gamespot? And here watch this it says exactly why Crysis is amazing, and not linear... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyQTCeobZlg All I've seen of Crysis 2 it said it looks like a corridor shooter, but i didn't state it for a fact.

Crysis had the illusion of being non linear, but it really was linear, sure the maps were bigger than most FPS games but that really only allowed you to approach certain firefights differently (Which is great if you ask me) and that was only for the first half, the second half had virtually no freedom at all; and warhead, now that was just a corridor shooter with some pretty scenery. Don't get me wrong, I love Crysis (One of the best FPS games in a while) but it was fairly linear.

The hate on Crysis on the thread is overwhelming. How is Crysis Warhead a linear corridor shooter ? Ridiculous. As i said watch the link it explains perfectly well why Crysis is one of the best shooters this gen. And stealth worked perfectly fine for me, it wasn't a joke as you put it. Crysis gives you all the tools to have an amazing time and try out different tactics, it's not the games fault all your firefights were the same for you.

It's not even a real RPG.

Planescape Torment is the best actual RPG of all time.

jwsoul
Is it? I would give that to Shadows of Amn to be honest easily. I havent played Mass Effect 2 but i think it certainly deserves to be up there from all the praise it gets why not?

Because it's not an RPG. It's Gears with dialogue choices.

[QUOTE="dog_dirt"] where do you get the cash. you must have a well paid job or rich parents.FlamesOfGrey

I have a game collection too, but buying every game released on every system is overkill. And it's a waste of money too.

That's your opinion. I am not bothered with how other people spend the money they make though I find it interesting how others always find it in their reason to state their opinion as if it hold more overall weight.

I didn't mean anything by it, it's just surprising. I enjoy gaming too and i have probably spent on my rig way more than necessary.

No idea, but I'm a collector as well as gamer.
