I didn't even know that the game was developed by ubisoft while watching the gameplay and trailer videos i tought that a japanese developer was working on it.

The developers are on the record stating that the 360 is the only console powerful enough to fufill their gaming vision. If you don't believe me look at the Gamespot video interview with them. :|JiveT

I almost fell of the chair reading that while im a xbox360 supporter i just can't help but laugh my you know what off becouse of that comment. Was that developer on crack when he said that or was that just another pr guy?

Reggie: Halo 3 is not a system seller, nothing new - Wii has great software variety

Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime has suggested that Halo 3 is not a system seller for Xbox 360 but of course is likely to sell a load of software units in itself. Reggie thinks that Halo 3 is being targeted towards the same demographic as the likes of BioShock and CrackDown which are all just similar multiplayer possible first person shooters questioning 'what's new' when it comes to Halo 3. Reggie then went on to say Nintendo feels no need to counter Halo 3 as they have a broad portfolio of games which are all targeted toward different consumer segments.

Q There's been a lot of buzz about Microsoft's "Halo 3." How do you expect it to affect the console battle this holiday season?

A Will they sell a lot of software? Certainly. Will it sell hardware? I think it's an open question. Why? Because I think that the "Halo 3" consumer already has the hardware, because they're playing "Bioshock" and "Crackdown" and a variety of games that are, in the end, quite similar: first-person shooter experience, multiplayer capable online. Tell me what's new?

Ok im sory sheep but dosen't this just prove that nintendo only care about sales? Im not saying that ms and sony don't but atleast they have alot better games. A game starts selling well on another console and nintendo instantly feel that their console is treathened and have say how they can sell more software. All they do is talk about sales i hope that the wii's sales go down so they can start making better games for the wii then there would be a reason to own a wii.

Think about it. ALL THE GAMES come out on it. So no more exclusives arguements. This would be best for gamers since we dont have to buy all three systems to enjoy all of the good games. Admit it cows would love halo 3 as well as lemmings would love mgs4.

No it won't having competition dosen't mean that gamers get better games. I'v seen this alot of times if there is no competion then the top dogs can do anything they like. They could overprice the console they could overprice the games accesoaries etc. and you would have to buy those things becouse there won't be another choice if you are a gamer. Competition is good. Oh and like people alredy said there won't be many good games.

MGS4 sub is not and MIGHT come out on 360...... in 2 years

Im willing to wait i have been a fan of the mgs series since mgs1 on ps1. The biggest reason i bought a ps2 was becouse of mgs2/3. I was thinking of getting a ps3 but i ended up buying a 360 becouse of sony. There are alot of mgs fans that bought a 360 instead of a ps3 so if konami ports it to the 360 i and alot of other people will defenetly buy it. MGS4 and God of War are the system sellers for me so if MGS4 gets ported i won't really need a ps3.

I agree with you they always say just wait while pc/360 gamers are playing the best games out atm. What i understand from your post is that all the best games that the 360 has to offer are alredy out? Do you have a time machine or did microsoft and the other developers for 360 games just tell you that they won't be developing any more games for the 360?

The 360 is the best choice for a console gamer right now like it or not it has the best games and most games also it has the best online play which consoles can offer atm. Sony isn't even trying but oh i guess you can wait until 2008-2009 when the ps3 becomes a good console then i just might buy it becouse atm the ps3 isn't worth the money unless you have a hdtv and you need a Blu-ray player.
