I dont think 1 game can reinvent gaming but i think that 1 game can atleast reinvent a certain genre. For me those games are Mass Effect, Spore (altough i don't know what genre it is its like a mix lol),
It will be a candidate for GOTY for sure im not sure if it would win but i bet it will becouse it brings new things to the table of the rpg genre while lets say crysis wich most people think will win for me it just looks like another good shooter with awesome graphics but it dosent do anything new, im not saying it would be a bad game i even think that it will get more awards then halo 3 and all the other shooters but it when i see it its like im looking at far cry with weapon customization.
I hate what they did with MGS the twin snakes. They shouldnt have made an mgs remake they did that game like it was the matrix or something witch it isn't. Original MGS owns MGS Twin Snakes. Im not sure on too human tough we will just have to wait and see what happens.
Fallout 1 and 2 were awesome games but il have to bet my money on mass effect here, lets not forget who is making fallout 3 what i mean is Oblivion was a good game but in no means was it "legendery" it didnt bring anything new to the table and it became ouite repetative, i even like morrowind more than oblivion. In any case i have a 360 so il be trying both so im not too worried, but im sure mass effect will be better.
Dont know what to say to this i would like to hear what epic has to say on the matter first, but if they did that that would be really low and i belive they must atleast pay the money that SK gave to use the unreal 3 engine plus more for the lost development time.
LoL at MS i got the 3 rings too but i fixed it with 8 pennies, it has worked for over a month and i play it like 5 hours a day, and they want to charge me 150$ for doing the same thing but using different parts. I think that this whole hardware issue was foreseen even before the 360 came out so they could make even more money i hate gaming companies (that goes for every company not just ms) but i also like games so i guess i have no choice. If MS abandons the 360 il just switch to ps3 but for now im happy with the games they have coming and im redy for a heck of a holiday season.
Ok why isnt god of war or mgs on that list, for me theese games have the best soundtracks. From the games you listed i like halo 2 more but final fantasy really comes close.
