The new inventory screens looks a lot better. Everything else is comparable to the 360 version, but I'm sure that the pc version will be graphically better.

whocares4peace

Yeah the Pc version should have higher-res textures, and hopefully less texture pop-in than the 360 due to increased amounts of RAM.But seeing how this is a Bioware game I wouldn't be too hopeful on the latter.

And not to mention a frame-rate that goes above 15fps once in a while. :P

I didnt have any significant frame rate drops. But the texture pop in the inventory system were pretty bad. Its still an awesome game.

And I wouldnt be surprised if this game is AAA on the PC, since most of the problems on the 360 were technical problems, which should be fixed for the pc.

I agree I only had frame rate drops like 2 times for a couple of seconds in the whole game. But there was certenly texture pop ins witch will probably be fixed for the pc version. So im expecting a better score than the xbox360 version.

Too bad that it probably will be full of bugs and glitches like dmc3 and resident evil 4 on the pc. Not to mention that if you don't have a gamepad the game will be hell to play. You can still enjoy the scenery tough.

#1 God Of War= Gameplay, Story, Graphics.

#2 Devil May Cry= Gameplay.

#3 Ninja Gaiden= Inferior gameplay, Standard Graphics Lame story, good looking female characters though.

AgentA-Mi6

Have you ever played ninja gaiden? And if you did did you happen to die 10 times in the start and quit? Sorry but as a gamer who has played all 3 of theese games i have to dissagree. The only part where gow wins over the other 2 games is story. Gow's gameplay is easy as hell, people can get trough the game by just tapping 1 button and using poseidon's rage all the time ofcourse this is excluding the button pressing sequances.

All 3 games have great graphics and saying witch one has better is just personal opinion, also the gameplay in dmc and ninja gaiden is alot more challenging and fast paced and both games have combo systems witch are years ahead of gow. If i wanted a challange in gow i would have to beat the game and play god mode or titan mode and still they don't compare to the harder difficulties in dmc and ninja gaiden.

There's nothing to understand. You're a fanboy venting, nothing new to these forums.

Just to feed the fire a little, don't you want games in the future to be uncompressed since it is better quality in sound and video?

Chutebox

Actually that is your role in this topic. To the op your post was logical but i guess you alredy know what happens when someone tries to to be logical here.

I'm not trying to start a war, I own a PS3 so it looks like i will have to buy that version of Star Wars: Force Unleashed.

However, why is it not coming out on PC, yet its coming out on every console including the DS i think.

Didn't the Jedi Knights / Dark Forces series grow up on PC. Lucasarts is basically shoving a big lightsaber up PC gamers' asses (who are their most loyal fans) and completely ignoring the PC fanbase that made Jedi Knights what it is.

Also, I understand a PC version is usually not a gigantic money maker like the console versions, but it looks like they are releasing it on everything, isnt that enough to afford a PC version? lol

Anyway, what do you people think? I'd also like to specifically hear from Jedi Knights fans on the issue.

thanks!

WARxSnake

Money comes first, loyal fans second. I'm not saying they won't make money with a pc version but it will sell more and faster on consoles.

Yesterday in a heated IM discussion about which of the three console makers is going to have the strongest line-up this year, a friend of mine who works at Sony Computer Entertainment Japan blurted out that Sony's internal studios have up their sleeves more than 20 yet-to-be-revealed projects for PlayStation 3.
Intrigued by this I asked if he could give me some examples. Project Siren (makers of the Forbidden Siren franchise), Team Saru (creators of the Ape Escape series) and Team ICO are three of the studios who're getting ready to reveal their new projects this year. After some more pushing, he told me that all he knows about Team ICO is that the team is working on two games, both for PS3.

My guess now is that Team ICO is indeed working on two games, none of which is for PSP. Most probably one is for PSN (hence the need of staff specialized in networking technology) and the other is headed for a Blu-ray disc release.

Maybe Fumito Ueda's words at the end of 2007 do show that his team is preparing an announcement.

Something must be wrong here i have inside information from a very reliable source from sony. The guy said that sony is to be bought by microsoft and that ms will be using the ps3 as a standalone blu-ray player that will sell for 200$. Next time double check your source.

The ignorance and stupidity of people continually astounds me. The funniest/saddest example is probablythis. InsaneBasura

This and the original post are some of the stupidest things i have read in a while. How can people be so ignorant, not only that but they are spreading false information. Like someone else said i would like to see the face of that guy that wrote the Mass Effect article when he meets the well dressed gentelmen that will visit him from ms and ea :D.

I have played the sc games on my pc and the metal gear games on my ps2. My opinion is that both are great games, only sc is more stealth oriented while mgs tries to blend in more action than stealth. Also the storyline of mgs3 just wen't too far and the boss fights weren't as good as the previous two games, and why did kojima invent raiden anyway? I'm sure that if he made snake the main charecter in the second game and made some changes to the story the game would be better.
