Actually I liked it... I haven't played it for too long, but from what I have seen so far it is funny (silly-funny, but funny, if you know what I mean) and that it stayed faithful to that adolescent and carefree style of the old Duke Nukem games.
I don't know exactly what gamers expected from Duke Nukem Forever so that I can tell if they were disappointed or not. If they expected a modern shooter, like Gears of War, or Uncharted, I'm sure this game can't satisfy them. Personally I expected a nostalgic game with a lot of "dukeisms" (old and new ones). :P and a decent game to support it of course. I still don't know if it succeeded, but my first impression from it is positive.
Dead Rising 2: because I love this game and I found very appealing the idea of replaying it for another system with new achievements from the beginning.
I want! But I don't think we are ever going to see that, because Rockstar Games have a specific model of game in their minds, and the protagonist is always an out-low and a very masculine one. They are not going to easily change an already succesful formula.
I posted a review for the game Saw II: Flesh & Blood giving the score of 4, but when I submited the review it appears to have a score of 1.0. I deleted it and posted it again a couple of times but the problem insists. What is strange is that when I go to the edit review page the system "remembers" that I had given a 4, but the score in the right box of the page automatically changes to 1.0
Jody all your propositions are very interesting and I think these would really help the site to be even better. Personally generally I'm happy with the reviews as they are now, though somes changes, like the feedback addition are welcomed. In my opinion the only thing that surely must change is the number of people-moderators who examine the integrity and the quality of the reviews. If more people from GS were assigned to watch the content of the reviews, then automatically the reviews' level would rise and no extra measures would be needed.
Also I'm really tired of seeing reviews and ratings of 1.0, or 10 only. I can't think of any way to control this, afterall someone might actually think that a game is worth of a 1.0 , as long as they can documentate their opinion.
