Well, that's online multiplayer for ya. Each online game has it's flaws (mostly due to the community).

At first, I rented Black Ops. I'm glad that I did, since the online was a mess (awful lag, sniping was basically non-existant, etc.). So sent it back. I bought it later for cheap, like a month ago, and thankfully they fixed most of the stuff (still get some laggy games, tho)

The only problem I really ever had with the controllers was the left analog stick sticking in the up position, but that's from playing a lot of CoD and other FPS' where you click down to sprint.

CoD4- yes, full of hacks, mods, etc.

MW2- No, it's fine as of now

Anyways, I'm not sure what to think of Halo 4. A Halo without Bungie? not quite sure about that
