OK...I've played about half the game. Has anyone experienced a consistant 2 second freeze or glitch that occurs at anytime and especially after beginning to shoot your weapon?

Great game, one big flaw.   You can fight your heart out for 15 mintues, perform excellently....and get killed before you know it.  At that point, all your work was for nothing as you are wisked back to the very beginning of the level.  No checkpoints, no reward for your time and effort...just like you did nothing for that 15 minutes.  That does not make a game fun.  I have finished the game on "Admiral" difficulty, but I could have had much more enjoyment without the penalty for the occasional death. It really makes no sense for a game developer to do that.

Can this game be played as a stand-alone single player game with no need to build your recruits through WiFi connections? Does this game have a single player mode that will allow me to play it, enjoy the storyline, shoot some bad guys and get to the end just like any other single player game?

I know it's over a year old....HOWEVER, I just finished playing through INFECTED for the PSP.  It's the most fun I've experienced on the PSP.  THIS GAME IS NOT FOR THE KIDDIES.  The "mature" rating is appropriate.  This game has the best wit and humor in it's dialoge that I have ever heard and the visuals of slicing and dicing skads of zombies is crazy over-the-top excellent.  The presentation and menus are very cool.  Throw in a wickedly awesome sound track of monster metal bands....with unlockable bonuses, and you've got just about the greatest little PSP title going (if you like a little blood on your sandwich).  The missions are the perfect length for pick up and play gaming.  For me...this game was a total hilarious bloodfest.  Anyone else have this much fun with INFECTED ???

Call of Duty, Roads to Victory.  I'm playing the hardest (Veteran) level.  Can't get past the aircraft gunner section while manning the ball turret in the belly of the plane.  My plane gets shot down every time.  Do you have to shoot down"X" number of planes to clear this level, or what?
