So E3 has past, and were are all excited for what is to coming the coming months or, for some, years. I'm here to give my opinions of E3, so let's start with the big 3 press conferences, Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony.

Microsoft

Microsoft press conference sounded like a cocky football player talking to himself in the mirror. They kept talking about, oh we out sold everyone, we sell more 3rd party games, we do everything better than the other guys, we have a bigger.....you know... It seem to me that they were trying to convince themselves they were..for lack of a better pharse.. the ****. There wasn't that many trailers or gameplay from them that I wanted to see. It was more like a huge powerpoint presentation.Finally their BIG announcement left something to be desired. I mean, come on, See it and Disney movie...really...come on Mircosoft, give me the games!!

Pros: Mass Effect release date, nice lineup of XLB arcade titles, great game lineup for THIS YEAR.....and more MASS EFFECT!

Cons: Too many 3rd party that they announced, nothing that we haven't heard before, no big announcement.

One sentence summary: There was nothing that we haven't heard before e3 with the exception of some things like RE5.

Nintendo

Nintendo press conference scared me! First of all, their conference was more like a infomerial than a press conference. The testimonies that they had were nicely done but out of place. They were really trying to appeal to casual gamer, I mean really trying. They had more grandparents on the screen than trailers. They did have a good amount of trailers, gameplay and such but they had a couple things that kinda bothered me. Wii zapper...really, a piece a plastic that holds both parts of the wii mote together. Wii Fit looked like Wii sports, fun for a couple of monthsbutnothingmuch after. If they had a couple of more games or showed it off a litte more it will make sense for me.

Pros: Super Smash Bros Brawl, Online play is coming soon, DS has a good lineup, causal gamer will feel at home with the wii

Cons: Hardcore games may feel the wii a little shallow, Wii zapper...really, a little defense for a press conference

One sentence summary: Causal gamer will love the Wii in the coming months, but "hardcore" gamer may find the Wii shallow.

Sony

Sony press conference was right to the point and direct. They gave you gameplay, trailers, big announcements, and MGS4! The amount of content that came out of Sony's conference was ridiculous. Though I wish they would have cut the PS3's price a little moreand put in a hard drive in the PSP.One thing that really bother me was that most of those games are coming out next year, but overall, Sony did the best of the big 3 this E3.

Pros: Great lineup...., MGS4, price cut,new psps, Little big planet.

Cons:.....coming next year!,HOME doesn't impress me much, MGS4 next year.

One sentence summary: Most of Sony's game are coming next year but they are on the right track.

Overall E3 was one of the best in terms of content that came out of E3, and GS did a great job covering all aspect of it.

BTW Rock Band for the final show....best show ever!

If you didn't watch the Microsoft Conference well you miss MASS EFFECT!!!! It's coming out in November....damn! It's too long to wait. After they showed gameplay and trailers, too long to wait, I hate when games tease you with game footage and tell you they are coming out later.... Well you know what time it is....countdown website!! I will start one soon.

Yo GS! Lets get down to business!

E3 is tomorrow and I can't wait! I will be watching Gamespot's and G4 coverage of E3, I'm even having a couple of friends over to watch it with me. There are many thing that I hope that will come out of E3, to name a few,a Mass Effect release date, more info on UT 3, more info on CoD4, see the demo of Ace Combat 6, a Fable 2 release date, screens of Star Wars The force Unleashed. Will there be a Kotor 3?Will MGS4 be on the 360? Will there be a Shenmue 3:cry:!!??

OK, that wasmore than a fewbut I hope to get answers at this year's E3 (except we all know the answer to Shenmue 3.....:cry: ). Also I hope I get to see something new out of this E3, something exciting!

Sup GS! You maybe wondering, Rican, why are you inside on GS right now? Well, right now it's raining and mostly everyone have canceled their plans for cookouts or parties and move their plans to saturday. The fireworks in my town aren't till saturday, my job is closed for today, so I am here. Well, I want to wish anyone who is celabrating the 4th of July a happy one, hopefully a better one than mine! lol

PS: Can't wait till E3 to start next week so I can here more news about Mass Effect!!

Convivial members of the community are friends to many others--no doubt, many others who are every bit as convivial as themselves! Indeed, such fine company these chaps and gentle-women truly are! Their company is often desirable and often available, and, being such convivial sorts, they are always looking to broaden their horizons by meeting more and more friends, colleagues, and associates. Why, you'd certainly invite them over for tea if you liked tea and knew where they lived.

Sup GS, having been post as much on G the forums or my blog. I have been a bit busy, a lot of things going on in my life. Ok gaming-wise I just got Forza 2 for 360, great game, review coming soon. I have been getting ready to start college soon in like 4 months......damn more school....:(

But before I get to college I have to graduate for HS first. Funny thing is that I am graduating at the place where I plan to go to schoolUniversity of Hartford....:lol:.....If that isn't some type of karma/fate then I don't know what it is. I plan to post some of the pics ofgraduation and aftergraduation party.

Hello GS, this is going to be a quick blog post. I have picture up of myself and girlfriend for you stalker-types. Tench Z is coming out tomorrow for some people, (I'm getting it Sat) I would recommend it for anyone that likes stealth, ninjas, swords, blood, death, so on and so forth.

As for my life, I went to the Puerto Rican day parade in NY,NY. I had a great time and so did everyone else that came with me (Story will come in next blog).I'm graduating from HS in a week and a day, getting a job in a week and 2 days. That's it g2g

Yeah, it's true. Well to elaborate, I'm going to the University of Hartford in the fall of 2007. Where is the UHart? It's in Hartford, CT, which is like 9 mins away from my house, lol. What do I plan to study? Well I always though I could go into the field of business, then from there maybe work for the business side of a video games company. I was really not that good at thinking "out of the box" so making/developing video games probably isn't the way to go for me. Anyways If you guys are interested in the University look on it's website http://www.hartford.edu/ .

P.S Watch out for Tenchu Z for 360, comes out June 14.
