Ever since the original Xbox, I've bled black and green, swearing allegiance to Microsoft and its consoles. However, if the title isn't enough of a hint, put simply, things have changed.

It all started when Microsoft decided to ignore me, the core gamer, and instead focus on sports, tv, sports, tv, tv, tv... well, you get the picture. Then came the whole DRM issue, the always online connection and the privacy concerns surrounding the new Kinect. Not to mention the company's lack of transparency with their marketing, placing almost every heavily advertised feature behind a pay wall.

While the company has done a 180 on the issues that concerned gamers the most, personally, i just can't stand by Microsoft any longer. You see, it would be stupid of me to disagree with (and complain about) the company's practices, yet continue to support them by purchasing their product - I may as well shut up.

And so, my journey across to Sony has begun. A journey, of course, made easier by the fact that not only is the PlayStation 4 cheaper and apparently more powerful, but Sony held me, the core gamer, at the forefront of its mind when it launched and marketed the PS4.

Is there anyone else who is jumping ship? And do you agree or disagree with my opinions/thoughts?

The above is a comment I tried posting on the GTA V review, but for some reason continues to be moderated.

After reading the majority of the comments on there, I am truly ashamed to think that this is what our gaming community has become. Since when did we stop respecting the opinions of others? Since when did we start attacking another human being for sharing her opinions on a video game? Some, if not many, have taken it a step further and have just ouright bullied Carolyn, disregarding her review altogether. 

It's sad, disgusting, and f**king immature... Where have people's hearts gone?

Yep. Some of their friends keep telling them that GTA V is out in USA and because Bangladesh is less developed games come about 2-3 months later.

I'm a bit hyped for V. Not nearly as I was for IV though, as I loved III but was really let down by IV. The characters sucked, the story was terrible, gunplay was cumbersome, the driving (while feeling more realistic) was not as fun, and there really was not much to do. But I think a lot of the reason for that was because R* had put all their energy into engineering the new engine. Now that's done and optimized, so I'm expecting a lot more in terms of polish and variety of content in this one. Plus they say they're trying to make the shooting like Max Payne 3 and the driving better, and their storytelling prowess has improved. I have faith, but my expectations are not sky-high. MirkoS77
