Is that a serious question? You are obviously not at all aware of Sony's overall finances.

If my computer only has a PCI Bus is there an adapter or something which I can use to plug in a PCI express graphic card into the PCI bus. OR would I have to buy a new motherboard , would appreciate any help Thanks

themitko

Theres no such adaptor that I'm aware of and I can say with a good degree of certainty they don't exist. You'll have to upgrade your motherboard..and probably your RAM also.

Ok, is there any way I can keep all of my files because I dont want to lose anything. Alls I want is Win XP on my laptop.-sharp-shooter-

Back up the files first onto another medium (preferrably not lots of CD-Rs or other burned media). Of course, I suppose you could also shrink the Vista partition, install XP move the files on the Vista partition over and then delete the Vista partition and resize the XP one but thats not a sure thing by any means and its more complex than should be necessary.

I think most vista haters are also Nvidia users because from my experiance nvidia makes terrible vista drivers. Now im not saying ATi is good at making drivers just dont want people to flame me.LouieV13

None of the Vista drivers are exactly extraordinary right now, can we at least agree on that?

i have a question...sure there is no performance hit but was about reliability or compatibility issues were those bugs fixed? wouldn't it be worth getting vista for that matter? sabbath2gamer

Not really unless you just can't like without DX10 (and don't want to go to excessive measures), as is the DX10 cards will smoke all but the best of the DX9 cards and XP is far more efficient and compatible than Vista.

Disclosure: I'm a Linux user and advocate.

Im a noob I dont know how to format my HD. What does Formatting do?-sharp-shooter-

It should be fairly automated once you put the install disc in, formatting will destroy whatever data is the on the hard drive and give you a basically fresh hard drive to install XP on..or something else entirely. Your choice.
